Again, politics aside, art transcends culture, politics, and religion. If my art can build a bridge then I’ve done my part. Besides Saudi money converts just fine to American dollars… and knowing the buyer, we dropped a fat number on them. They took it. We’re too ‘starving artist’ to turn down the offer.
Money transcends as well...and nothing wrong with that. You work for a lot of reasons, but getting paid is one of them.
