I believe their are different tiers or categories of fans.
I think you have some that are realistic. They don't trick themselves
Into thinking everything is Rosey and awesome
Then you have a section that the wait and see, or prove it
To me attitude.
Then you have a part of the Homer's. They believe every
Move by the front office great. Every draft pick is a steal
Every player acquisition is a successful one.
Every year the Browns are playoff bound etc etc
Then you have a tier of fans that are cautiously optimistic
But in the past the ones that were realistic, were looked down
Upon by the Homer's. In fact at one time the Homer's had
The loudest voice in Dawgtalkers.
