I like the bye week. We will probably get screwed with a early or late bye. I still don't understand why they can't get all of the byes done in a 3-4 week window.

It wouldn't be hard to shut down an entire conference minus 2 teams each week to allow the network to get their game of the week during the shutdown. If being fair is a goal, you don't need to spread byes over 10-12 weeks. Just get them all done in weeks 8-10 or 11. It isn't that friggen hard.
