The funeral industry disgusts me with their greed, preying on out-dated customs and grieving survivors.

I’ve told my loved ones that when I die, I don’t want a service, funeral, coffin, nothing. Also told them that if they want all that, I’m not paying for it.

There is a science-heavy university in Nova Scotia that accepts - or used to - human remains for scientific purposes, so they can have me. I won’t need my body parts - I’ll be busy being dead.

I also wouldn’t mind if they dumped me a couple miles off the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and I know a few fishermen who would probably do that for me, if it’s legal and maybe if it isn’t.
