I definitely have seen Ford improve since the preseason. He needs to continue to work on getting those hard yards IMO. Chubb was a master at turning 2 into 4
I don't know why people put a ceiling on guys based on in the moment evidence. It was obvious Ford was nervous as hell when Chubb went down but settled into playing as the game went on. You could see his confidence just continue to build. And I thought he had a nice game this past week as well. I think it's only going to continue to get better from here.
