I don't understand why the discussion around the salary cap seems to be such a hot-button topic. The salary cap is real...it can become a problem...it CAN be managed...especially when you have a deep-pockets owner who is willing to pay out crazy sums of actual cash.
Both sides of the argument are correct (IMO) in their stance(s). :shrugs:
The one thing about the cap that is hardest to figure out - while managing it - is that you MUST draft 'well' when playing the spending game. You have GOT to be able to find less-expensive guys to make up for the very-expensive guys. Mess that up and no amount of owner-spending can make up for it. JMO
