Sidenote, I hate those suicide prevention number promotions. The numbers are good. Repeating the reminder of them over and over while people are on hold with VA Healthcare is enough to make one seriously contemplate it. It's like I wasn't thinking about it, but then I heard suicide mentioned 50 times in 15 minutes, and then you gave me a card, and a flier, and a magnet, and a poster, and an email. Now I've got to try really hard not to think about it. Unfortunately, trying not to think about something is really thinking about something.
A more cynical man might think the higher ups are trying to use reverse psychology to drive down costs.
