It was never about winning, it was all about $$$$$$$$$$$$$
Honestly, I think it was about winning. Myles just realized the Browns were more likely to send him to the Titans (/insert bad team with owner unwilling to spend so much) than a winner. So, his best bet was to try to make the Browns a winner, and get the no trade clause.
I think Myles can understand the business side of things even if he doesn't love it.
