ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Social media star-turned-boxer Jake Paul will fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Stadium, Netflix announced Thursday.

The streaming platform will provide live coverage of the bout between the 27-year-old Paul and 57-year-old Tyson, who hasn’t fought since he and Roy Jones Jr. met in a 2020 exhibition that ended as a draw.

Paul built a significant fan following as a YouTube influencer and turned professional in boxing four years ago. He has won nine of 10 fights with six knockouts against mostly undistinguished opponents. His only loss came last year to Tommy Fury, half brother of WBC heavyweight champ Tyson Fury.

“Iron Mike” Tyson was the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987-90 and retired in 2005 after winning 50 fights, 44 by knockout.

“My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion of the world, the baddest man on the planet and the most dangerous boxer of all time. Time to put Iron Mike to sleep,” Paul wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Paul’s second professional fight was on the undercard of the Tyson-Jones fight. His most recent fight was last Saturday, when he knocked out Ryan Bourland.

“I’m very much looking forward to stepping into the ring with Jake Paul at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas,” Tyson said in a statement. “He’s grown significantly as a boxer over the years, so it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a ‘kid’ can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT. It’s a full circle moment that will be beyond thrilling to watch; as I started him off on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish him.”

Agreed. Both of these guys will be hugging each other post fight after earning millions. Having said that, I hope Mike Tyson knocks him out within the first couple rounds. As an '80's kid growing up in the suburbs, Mike Tyson was my hero. Several moments that I'll never forget....
1. Watching the pre-fight coverage of when Mike Tyson fought Tony Tubbs. They fought in Japan and showed a bunch of kids playing Mike Tyson's Punch Out on Nintendo -- I started begging my parents to buy me a Nintendo after seeing that.
2. Mike Tyson knocked out Tony Tubbs early in the fight. Months later, I started running around the house when i beat Mike Tyson in Punch-Out. - Thought that I had only knocked him down twice only to see Mario come out "TKO". - Went crazy and none of the other kids at school believed me when I told them the next day.
3. Memorizing the lyrics to Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff's "I think I can beat Mike Tyson".
3. Mike Tyson vs. Michael Spinks. It was a pay per view event, and even though I was a kid, I remember watching with a bunch of my parents' friends. Tyson beat him in 93 seconds. He was unstoppable.
4. Waking up, a phone call from my dad who was out of town... "Did you see that Tyson lost last night" Shocking isn't a strong enough word. Dad and I re-watched the fight and timed how long Buster Douglas was down in, I believe, the 5th round?
5. Tyson going through the same trials as any American Hero and finding a way to come back and make everybody support and root for him.
I'm so glad to see him alive and well. Making money and doing great things.

While I'm not totally sure how accurate this is, it seems it will be free for all Netflix subscribers.....

Netflix Fight Night: Mike Tyson to Battle Jake Paul in “Boxing Mega-Event” Streaming Live in July

The streaming giant is partnering with Paul's Most Valuable Promotions on the bout, which will be held at AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

Netflix is getting into combat sports in a major way, picking up what it is calling a “boxing mega-event” that will see the controversial former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson face off against YouTuber-turned-fighter Jake Paul.

Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions is partnering with Netflix on the event, which will stream live on the platform July 20 from AT&T Stadium in Dallas.

The match will be included for all Netflix subscribers (many other boxing bouts still use a pay-per-view model), though tickets will be sold to fill the 80,000-seat arena. There will also be a co-main event and undercard bouts.

It's a rather long article but this is the portion that addressed your question.

I am really not paying attention to RG3's opinion but here is a quick video of Tyson training for the fight. I do think his best shot at winning would be to knock Paul out early.
