Boxing was the first sport I became aware of. My father had friends who were boxers. My godfather was a heavyweight.

When I was small my father's buddies would come over and watch Gillette Cavalcade of Sports on an old black and white TV.

I followed boxing from age eight or so.

Mike Tyson came to boxing like a tornado. He destroyed fighters. Now at 57 he is a test dummy for "synthetic cures."
