I still do not know how well the Browns offense will play.
I see some potential and at the same time there remain questions. New offense with some new players and of course DW.
Defense is a different story. I feel secure with the defense. They were good last year with Schwartz in his first year. In his second season he has the return of most of his players and they all begin healthy.
It all begins up front. Myles, Tomlinson, Harris, Z.
Backed up with Wright, Hurst, Jefferson, Ogbo.
That is a damn good rotation of players up front.
The secondary is ready to fly.
Ward, Emerson, Newsome, Delpit, Thornhill. Excellent depth. McLeod, Hickman, Mitchell, Hailassie, Harden.
Linebackers are led by JOK, Hicks, Bush, Diabate, Fields, Watson.
I expect this defense to roar. Apply great pressure and get turnovers. IMO it is the game's number one defense.
We can get it done on three levels. Schwartz will get the front to really get after the QB. Pressure is very humbling. I don't care who the QB is. Myles is a game wrecker. Offenses have to game plan Myles. What makes it different is that Myles is not alone any longer. He has help.
Offenses will find the Browns defense very hard to play against. It is not necessarily scheme or trickery. It is individual talent. That talent can line up against you one on one and say let's go.
If the defense can win us games early. Maybe the offense will catch up.
