If convicted he should be held accountable by existing laws. But making up new laws to hand out harsher penalties than those already on the books is political. If he committed vandalism, try him for vandalism. If he committed arson, try him for arson. Don't call him a domestic terrorist for committing vandalism or any other crimes already on the books against a person or business you want to protect.

Anyone found guilty of committing a crime should be held accountable.

If you storm the capital, assault police officers and try to stop the certification of a presidential election it's compared to a tourist tour and a "day of love". Everyone will be pardoned. This guy keyed some Teslas and the same people that stayed silent about the Jan. 6th criminals being pardoned suddenly think a guy who keyed some cars deserves prison time.

It's such a waste of time trying to make any sense out of such hogwash.
