I tend to agree with this.

Judkins is the only draft pick that still needs to sign.

Strength and conditioning (continued)..

I'm encouraged by the news that the Browns will attempt to address the impact injuries have had on the Browns
over past few years.

Browns announce new hires in an attempt to get their grades up

The Cleveland Browns announced a major restructuring of their health and performance department ahead of the 2025 season, signaling an attempt to modernize their approach to player care and performance. Injuries have derailed the Browns' roster over the last few years, including a former top-ten pick who may sit out the entire season to get healthy after becoming a free agent.
The team promoted three key staff members and made six new hires, reinforcing its commitment to elevating medical, recovery, and performance standards across the board.

Among the promotions, Pat Rock takes over as Head Athletic Trainer, Kelsey Fahy steps into the role of Director of Performance Nutrition, and longtime staffer Gordon Williams becomes Health & Performance Operations Coordinator. The Browns also added Ryan Curtis (Director of Health & Performance Innovation), Keenan Robinson (Manager of Recovery Services), and a range of specialized performance therapists and nutrition staff.

This overhaul follows a broader effort by the Browns to align their medical and performance operations with best practices seen across elite sports organizations. It also comes in the wake of low grades in the NFLPA’s team report card, where players voiced concerns about the training room and staff overall. By investing in personnel with a wide range of experience—and adding roles focused on performance science and innovation—the Browns appear intent on addressing those critiques head-on.

GM Andrew Berry described the changes as part of a longer-term effort. “We believe that bringing in additional expertise and promoting deserving members of our existing staff will continue to advance this area of our operation with the goal of creating positive, lasting impacts for our players both on and off the field.”

By modernizing and building a staff with elite credentials, the Browns are not only aiming to keep players healthier and more available—they’re also sending a clear message to current and future players: Cleveland is serious about improving the day-to-day player experience.

With the Browns' recent injury woes, does this give you confidence that the team can stay healthier? Let us know in the comments below.

Give the FO credit. They realized there was an issue and they addressed it. Hopefully it will do some good.

Congrats Pat... He has been with the Browns for about 10 years.
Congrats Gordon 18 years in the NFL.
Congrats Kelsey promoted from Nutrition Coordinator.

All three deserve the promotions. Never met Kelsey, but both Pat and Gordon are great people.

As for Ryan, Keenan, Grace, Matt, Steve, and Jeremy, Welcome to the Browns

The Cleveland Browns have made six new hires and promoted three members of the health and performance staff at the start of the 2025 season, as the department continues to work closely with University Hospitals and James Voos, MD the Head Team Physician for the Cleveland Browns, who also serves as President of the NFL Physicians Society (NFLPS), to ensure the team is receiving optimal medical care.

"Player availability and safety while maximizing player performance is a crucial process to the success of our organization. Over the past calendar year, we have begun the process of modernizing our approach in the player health and wellness spaces," said Cleveland Browns Executive Vice President, Football Operations & General Manager Andrew Berry. "We believe that bringing in additional expertise and promoting deserving members of our existing staff will continue to advance this area of our operation with the goal of creating positive, lasting impacts for our players both on and off the field."

The promotions include several tenured staff members stepping into new leadership positions: Pat Rock as Head Athletic Trainer, Kelsey Fahy as Director of Performance Nutrition, and Gordon Williams as Health & Performance Operations Coordinator.

The new hires include Ryan Curtis, Director of Health & Performance Innovation; Keenan Robinson, Manager of Recovery Services; Matt Hobbs, Performance Therapist; Steven Best, Performance Therapist; Grace Kennedy, Assistant of Performance Nutrition; and Jeremy Portillo, Performance Science Fellow.

Gordon Williams – Health & Performance Operations Coordinator: Williams is entering his 16th season with the Browns and starts in his new role as Manager, Health and Performance Operations after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer since 2010. In his role he will work closely with Head of Athlete Health & Performance, Dustin Nabhan to ensure cohesion between athletic training, strength and conditioning, innovation, recovery, and nutrition staffs, fostering a true team-oriented environment for the overall care of Browns players to perform at their highest levels. Prior to his time with the Browns, Williams was an Assistant Athletic Trainer with the Philadelphia Eagles for three seasons. He received his bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University and completed his master's in athletic training from PennWest California and his master's in business administration from the University of Findlay.
