The NFL product is very very mediocre when teams like this make the playoffs.

Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

If Weeden pulls a comeback and wins a playoff game, I give up comepletely.

...or does the Texans coach pull a Pet and leave Hoyer in there? Going down with the ship mentality.

Holy Jeebus, what do you do in this situation? In hockey, that goalie would have been pulled.

I'd give Hoyer this series, maybe one more. If he throws a pick, I'd cut him before he gets to the bench.

Coaches must love Hoyer. He's the only QB ever who plays this bad and stays in the game.

If Houston's reason for sticking with Hoyer is due to him being far better than Weeden, they are in trouble.

In Hoyer's defense though, hasn't he at times been known to be that comeback kid in the second half?

Time is slowly running out in this game. The Texans have held the Chiefs offense to only 2 field goals, and only trail by 13. In a playoff game, everybody is going to be super focused on the finish.

( on January 3rd they said, " and the last 5 coaches to be fired in the AFC North, all have been Cleveland Browns coaches.")

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Ballgame. Chiefs are the much better team anyway. Andy Reid is the man. God I wish we had him.

Sounds like the Houston fans are just as enamored with Hoyer as the Browns fans were. It's hilarious that people on this board still defend him to this day.

He's good for a few games, then that's pretty much it... Then he falls apart.
______________

What's up with Clowney this year? Didn't hear much about him, but to be fair I don't pay much attention to the Texans anyhow.

I saw this article:

'Jadeveon Clowney left the Texans' stadium before kickoff against the Chiefs'

http://www.sbnation.com/lookit/2016/1/9/...stadium?ref=yfp

Did he leave to buy a Powerball ticket? Hey, it's 900 million and counting! laugh

So, in Andy dalton a first 4 playoffs games combined, he's 1 TD, 6 INT.

Hoyer in one game? 0Tds, 4 INT, fumble

Clowney. I'll bet he has good analytics.

Next question... If Johnny were traded to the Texans, which one would be cut first?

Guess he finally proved he's a backup. Good for a few games like most. Really rooted for him too.

WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM
my two cents...

Some drunk idiot on the radio tonight wanted to trade JJ for Johnny

What a horrible game.... Texans held strong defensively until JJ went down but you can't overcome what 5? Turn overs and several other almost turn overs

I'll also say using JJ to try and score was dumb... Just give it to blue and let him score and the Texans are back in that game only down 6 at that point.. Oh well

Got to see George Forman, Craig Biggio, little John, and a couple other celebs tonight

Too bad for Houston that bad Hoyer showed up last night. Good defenses have a way of making that happen. On the other hand, if Alex Smith is only a "game manager" type QB - sign me up. KC got him for a 2nd round pick.

Texans are the perfect example of a franchise with talent everywhere except quarterback. Until they get a QB, you ALWAYS know how their season is going to end.
