I didn;t dive into the draft as headlong as I normally do this year so I was wondering if my fellow dawgs could give me their opinion of where the draft is deepest this year.

I'm of the firm opinion that you should always draft at least one player from where the draft is deepest- even if its not necessarily a position of need. It just gives you the best chance of finding productive players in middle rounds IMO.

OF course, last year we even managed to eff that up with the Mayle pick.....

FWIW, Rob Rang at CBS Sports' top 50 is comprised of:

18 DL
12 OL
6 DB
5 WR
5 LB
2 QB
2 RB
0 TE

I would have thought that Hunter Henry, Arkansas rated in the top 50...

Defensive front 7 is where the talent is. You will be getting day 1 starters in the late 2nd, its that deep. You can really rebuild your line with this draft.

I think secondary its a weak group. I just dont see a lot of playmakers in this group at all. I dont know if i would any of these guys early, including ramsey.

Offensive tackle is also really strong. There will be a lot of starters in this group. Probably the most underrated group in this class.

QB is not great but its not bad either. I think there were 5 guys with that late first mid 2nd level talent. You have some late sleepers who could develop into somethign special. Group is gonna be overdrafted but so was Mariotta last year and Bortles before that.

RBis a pretty deep and talented crew. 2nd -4th is where the talent is to be had.

Receiver is lacking on the top end but there are some starters but its not a big tall grup. They are more of what we already have it seems.

TE class weakest class ever.

Safety and corner has a lot of depth but I see it as low

QB decent, I think Osweiller's numbers has scared QBs up the board.

RB is underrated in this class.

Interior D-Line is pretty strong, I think corner is overrated.

Lots of players that could be good in the right scheme through out the draft. Will have to find the right fits.

I think this receiver class is pretty deep. Not quite the star power at the top as previous years, but should have a bunch of solid players.

Taking a guess in the top 50 Five WR is a very low figure for the Unit on draft day.
9 in top 50 2015...and 8 in top 50 2014.
