0-12 with an extra week off .. cincy is without some key pieces. RG3 is back from a long time off. We generally play cincy close and/or split with them.
can we gear it up?

Cincy is absolutely TERRIBLE on the road this year. Coming off a bye, this is our best chance at a win the whole year. Depends on if the young players feel refreshed and make progress coming off the bye week.
But certainly they could beat a bad Bengals team at home.
you had a good run Hank.

Can we win? No.
Can Cincy lose? Yes.
Am I the only one that pronounces hyperbole "Hyper-bowl" instead of "hy-per-bo-le"?

sure the Browns can win. but Dalton sliced and diced a Eagles defense minus Bernard and Green. how do the Browns negate the Bengals offense? the Browns need a strong special teams game. cincy has really steamrolled the Browns the last 4 games

We got this. 26-23 Browns, griffin hits a couple long ones, stays safe, Crowell has a nice game. Bengals start mailing it in, knowing playoffs won't happen. Browns fresh off a bye. Dawgs hungrier, that'll be enough.

I`m good with Baker... Playoffs is good enough for me.

Hope springs eternal.
Get win #1. Hope Hue's "fixes" make a difference. Get after it this week. Pull out all the stops. If we mentally "crack Dalton's nut" early mentally, we have a great shot.

The bad thing is now teams don't want to be embarrassed to lose to us ... we're to that point where teams actually will try harder to avoid it

No.
Marvin Lewis isn't letting Hue get his first win against him.
Also, they have Jeremy Hill, Geno Atkins, Tyler Eifert and the Browns do not.
On a side note, if the Browns lose on Sunday, come December 13th they will have gone an entire calendar year without a win. That is absolutely remarkable.

Can we win...of course. Will we win? We can only hope. I just wish to see us finish a game for once. We have played well and had leads but could not finish.
Bengals have been struggling as of late but you never know teams come in to our house with renewed confidence that they can win. I just hope we play hard from beginning to end cause the Bengals have a rep of quitting on themselves when the record is bad at the end of the season.

No chance. None.
Nobody will be willing to be the team to give us our first win. There is more pride at stake for the opponents than us.
On top of that, we're just terrible. We're not even remotely in the same class. Literally.
Browns is the Browns

I'm just starting to come off of a nasty cold, so this may be the cold (or cold meds) talking, but my gut says we win this one.

If there was a can't-miss QB in this years draft, we'd win out and drop to the #7 slot.
With that being said, I still think we win at least one. That will also guarantee the 49ers getting the #1 overall with their weaker SOS. Oh well. Even when we win, we lose.

Everyone's SOS can change before the end of the year, and I think I saw that the 9'ers still have Seattle and Atlanta left to play. Those 2/3 are doozies.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I was going to post a thread just like this. I think this week is a trap game for Cincy for the reasons that you mentioned above. AJ Green and some other guys are hurt. We had a bye week and will be trotting out a QB that hasn't been seen since week 1. We won't be worried about man free with RG3 in and in fact we will be hoping for it.
Look for Coleman to come up big this week and for the running game to be relevant again.

Of course we CAN win (any given Sunday rule), but we won't. 0-16. time to own it.

Key match-up is gonna be the current incarnation of the Browns OL vs the Bengals very formidable front 7
They should fear Geno Atkins.
Defense can't give up anything cheap.
Should be a winnable game.

Well I had a new roof put in. They put the Satellite dish back but not at the right angle and for most channels its that Storm effect of partial views.
The Direct service people cannot get here till Monday which means I will probably not get a good look at the game. Murphy's Law...we will win

I saw a stat the other where CarLos Dunlap has 14 passes defensed.he's a huge match up problem for Paztor. minus Green they should put 32 on the Eagles who's defense is better than the Browns who's gonna cover Eifert The Browns haven't been competitive with the Bengals in a couple years why should tomorrow be different? even in a off year the Bengals are better all around than the Browns I see Hill going off again

I think we can be in it, but it may be a "fluke factor" game. I see us needing two breaks to go our way and play very clean ball.

On a side note, if the Browns lose on Sunday, come December 13th they will have gone an entire calendar year without a win. That is absolutely remarkable. What is remarkable is that people actually spend real money on this pile of garbage. I wish I had money to waste like that. Of course, I would rather burn it than give it to said pile of garbage. Screw you Haslam.
The Browns finally have a leader in the building. It won't be long before Jim Schwartz is in charge. Thankfully.

I am amazed that so many are surprised by how this team has played this season. Before RG3 went down we had serious problems. I figured if we were lucky we'd win three games. Then our starting QB gets hurt in the very first game. Then our backup gets hurt the second game.... Gee, why has this team sucked all year? LMAO If everything had gone PERFECTLY we might have been 3-13 and thought ourselves lucky. This was always year one of a complete rebuild. Losing was part of the equation. A necessary evil for the greater good.... or so we hope. Yes, perhaps we are being lead down the primrose path once more. Unfortunately, we can't know that for some time.... The Browns rebuild project is like Schrödinger's Cat. Both good and bad until we see the results..... That won't be for some time fellow fans.... All we can do is wait for the draft and hope for the best....

the game wasn't as close as the score what made you think it's a winnable game??? cause they were playing at No Energy Stadium? RG3 was gonna revert back to his rookie year? funny thing...Hue knew all the Bengals tendencies down and distance personal groupings yet it still didn't tip the scales
