wow anybody else watch the nfl.com inside the NFL?
Ray lewis was talking about how he would change the culture here.
entertaining... I know people would never allow it because he's Ray Lewis, but we probably need someone like him to come in here and change the culture. He's been through it. He's been on a franchise that lost a lot of games, and then turned it around and won a Super Bowl. Then maintained the winning culture. He was doing a radio interview a few weeks ago, and they asked him what you do when you're in a bad losing funk, similar to the Browns. I liked his answer. He said that the first year he was in the league, they went something like 4-12. The goal then wasn't so much for "moral team victories", but they told them to go out and win your individual battle. Concentrate on you. It almost seems counter-intuitive, but it makes sense. The entire team didn't have the talent yet to compete, but if everybody could focus on winning their individual battle, they could at least set a micro-goal to make themselves better. It would even give them a "win" on a personal level, even if the team wasn't doing too hot. And I think that's key for moral. If your better players can at least feel like they're winning their individual battles, they don't get so despondent when the rest of the team sucks. in the meantime, the front office and coaches figure out which players to replace, and within a year or two you've got an entire team that can win.

cleveland.com had recently posted an article with this title...
"Browns fans will need to bundle up for game against Minnesota Vikings Sunday in Cleveland: FirstEnergy Stadium Weather forecast"
The article went on to say how it was going to be chilly for the morning tailgaters with a gametime temp in the mid 30s at 9:30.
It was quickly deleted after 10 minutes because I can't find it anywhere. You can google the title but there is an error when you click the link.
The actual game time in London is supposed to be about 57.

entertaining... I did watch that, and it painstakingly kills me to agree. Its gotta be pretty bad when Ray Lewis feels bad for the Cleveland Browns.

Here in Nashville, we're on CT. The game starts here at 8:30. I always record the game and begin watching about an hour after it actually starts. That way I can fast forward through the commercials when I watch the game. It make my game day experience much more enjoyable. So beginning to watch the game at 9:30 right after Sunday breakfast work great for me. Now I can see four complete games on a Sunday.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

The team's first international trip got off to a rough start on Saturday morning after they had to be evacuated from their hotel. According to Cleveland.com, fire alarms at the Pennyhill Park Resort and Spa near London started going off around 5:45 a.m. after a gas leak started in the hotel's kitchen.
The Browns then spent the next hour in their temporary locker room at the facility before they were cleared to return to their rooms. The one-hour evacuation wreaked havoc on the Browns' schedule for Saturday. The team had to push back their planned walk-through at Twickenham Stadium by two hours. The delay also means that several Browns players won't be able to attend an NFL pep rally that's scheduled for Saturday afternoon.

Who would think that starting their day off at 6 AM would be such a logistical nightmare for this team. They know their job is to play professional football, right? Being drafted isn't good enough.

Well, there IS the 6 hour time difference they are trying to adjust to. And, I think I read that the "summer time" thing changes there this weekend by an hour. (like our daylight savings time thing.)

Maybe after London sees the Browns play, they'll tell the nfl to stop playing games in london.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I think that guy might have issues that need help. Daylight savings time.......and then he goes to privately run "for profit" prisons? What? I don't mind the time change at all. In fact, I kinda like it.

He needs to touch the ball 75% of the snaps on offense lol. Agreed. I think at this stage he needs to be listed as the #1 RB and get the touches to support it.

I gotta disagree men ...
I like Duke for 12 - 15 touches a game .... i don’t want him getting 20 + touches a week ... especially not if were going to start running him up the middle 7 or 8 times a game ...
The last few games Heu’s been utilizing him properly IMO ...
U get to a must win game or the playoffs one day ... then the formula can change ....

It'll be strange watching the Browns with coffee instead of a beer or 3. And by "strange" I mean "brutal". I haven't had a drink in 35 years, let alone a beer. or cigarette. coffee was a little harder but with the Lord's help I overcame that unhealthy habit as well. I used to live on the west coast and I did enjoy the early starts especially Sunday evening football. lol

Maybe so.
I sure hope we brought home a kicker, gotta be one to spare in London. Maybe a couple bad boy rugby professionals too. I am quite certain their analytics must prove superior to the stats we put up today.
