Reminds me alot of what the germans are doing Swish wink 550hp/627tq. Would love to see this in the CTS V-Sport or even ATS V-Sport...

Only 300 to be made? bummer. I had a supercharged LS2 in my GTO and had a blast with that motor... supercharged V8's are insane amounts of fun.

I have never driven a v8. Maybe someday I will get there.

The rumor is that car will cost 170K. But just rumors.

If I had infinite money I would totally buy one.

Every car/truck I own has a V8. Getting harder and harder to find though:
A8L is a 4.0L twin turbo V8
Cobra replica is a 5.0L supercharged V8
Mustang is a 5.0L turbo V8
Excursion is a 7.0L turbo diesel V8

The torque of a V8 is hard to beat, though some of the 6's are getting there. Still like the 8's though.

Cadillac should’ve been doing this, but I’m glad they finally joined in.

The super GT cars are popular right now, especially the German style muscle cars.

And it’s definitrly trying to push my car. 550hp, 627 torque? Man oh man!

My fave motor was my Vipers V10. I know they won't make a motor like that again frown but it had diesel like torque and insane throttle response.

I'd like to own a V12 at some point in my life smile was thinking about a 760 BMW but the wife said we are having twins so went with an XTS lol

My brother rented a 2018 Mustang GT 5.0, red. 460 HP

This.

http://hanabi.autoweek.com/sites/default...g?itok=ba42Qef1

He is in town visiting, but had to go to SC this evening to drop off his gf at her friends house.

I will find out tomorrow how he likes it when he comes back. (He rented it just to drive her to SC)

Mustang next to my Jag

It's pins you back better than my Jag. I love that Mustang.

It makes me wish my car was a manual.

Because I'm in Mustang mode right now...here's a video about it.
And oh man the roar of the engine is soul soothing.

I miss having a cool car now that the weather is warming up frown but my 3yo loves cars and maybe the twins will too, so I might be able to swing another on in a few years. I'll have to settle for my cadillac ATS manual

No, old school pushrod V8's. I just put 5.0 cause it's easier for most to identify with.

My Cobra is a .30 over 302, making it a 306 with a Vortech S-Trim supercharger pushing about 10lbs of boost. It makes around 500hp at the tires.

My Mustang is a bored and stroked 302 making it 331cid. It runs a single turbo pushing around 13 lbs of boost. It makes around 900hp at the tires - the car is an all out drag race car with a full cage, my best time is 9.6 @ 147 in the 1/4 mile. The car is currently not in working order as I blew the motor, I've got a new one just need to get the thing back together.

I almost bought an Audi A8L W12 a few months ago but went with the standard A8L 4.0T. I too would like a V12 at some point smile

4.4L twin turbo V8 560 hp, 500 lb ft torque. And I got it sitting on pirelli P Zero’s on stock 20’s.

Im wrapping it matte black before summer, with black rims.
