NOT a Gene Hickerson one,....

THIS is the next Brown that should go, again, long overdue, and very, very deserving in my opinion. The only player that could possibly ursurp this choice would be Clay.

Schafrath and Hickerson were two of the best of their era.
Both weren't huge, but were very good at what they did.
They sure opened some holes for the running backs to run through.
There was a poll somewhere that had Clay, Schafrath, Mack and I don't remember who else, but Schafrath got my vote.
I think it would be well deserved and long overdue.

I would (and did on the main site) vote for John Wooten ahead of Shafrath.

Credentials are pretty much the same as Hickerson's and he's been active in the NFL for 44 years.

his book heart of a mule is pretty cool. lots of interesting history in it.

We're trying to throw the ball downfield and he checked the ball down to Trent Richardson and the Indians on the choice.

I doubt we see any more Browns enter the HOF for 30 years until some of the new or yet to be drafted players distinguish themself.

The guys you mentioned were good...but probably just a little short.

Matthews might at one point because of his iron man deal, but it will be like Hickerson. It won't happen until he is half dead, if not.

If everybody had like minds, we would never learn.
