"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Saw these guys in Ft Wayne at the Coliseum. They were the warm-up band for Yes, of all bands:
And this one is still a favorite. It's a wonderfully well- done pop tune, from writing to arranging to performing:
And a local/family connex: This band hailed from my wife's neck of the woods. (Shoutout to My 'East Side River Rats,' yo!) The band's founder was from Mingo Junction, and the one-hit wonder band that smashed the charts hailed from Steubenville, Ohio- My Hunny's home town.
Can White Boys play funky music? Can they also produce and distribute an incredibly provocative album cover, without being overtly sexual?)
The answer to both questions is an emphatic: YES. [in my best Obama voice]: "Yes... they can."
I was at a huge bar in the boonies of Tuscarawas County way back in the day. Wild Cherry was a rock band at the time that was starting to dabble in the disco scene.
It was my birthday and some of the girls I was with decided it would be a good idea to get the band to play Happy Birthday for me. I was embarrassed as can be when I had to stand up and be acknowledged.
Dudes were cool, though.
I will say this. They could rock. And while I don't like disco at all..................there is something about that song that makes you feel good and wanna strut around like a rooster in heat.
He had quite a few albums, but I think this is the one most people think of, and it's one that is on my USB music stick in my Jeep amongst the 80s metal and hard rock.
We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
I immediately thought of the "Browns Return" anthem or whatever that long ago went to garage sale heaven and player spots in the video. I think it was called "Here We Go Again." Really ramped the club up. Might be marketable if the Baker Mayfield rebirth pans gold for us. Cranked it up to fire up for games. Video played better than we did. Another case where the Browns outperformed the team.
Great thread, by the way.
