Sorry to be so snarky about soccer, Mutt... I was a little tipsy last evening and, well, you know..... Yeah, we get upset when people make comments like that in the hockey threads. I suppose now isn't a good time to insert the "soccer is just Riverdance with a ball" joke I heard the other day.

Akron vs. Maryland Sunday in NCAA finals.
It's a cool thing for the area and a MAC School. Akron has kind of dominated Big 10 schools for a number of years.

First and foremost I'm a hockey fan. Yes, even above football... We're getting closer to that dead time between football and baseball when I would look for NHL games on ESPN and NBC (on weekends), but it looks like the NHL doesn't have any network affiliation any more. I don't like basketball, so that leaves the Golf channel. But you can only watch so many Longest Driver contests ...

I borrow hulu from my kid. It Carrie's some nhl games. I can't sit through a whole game of anything or a movie. I get too antsy.
