Soon some guys dreams will end. And as it always does happen some vets may get shown the door.
Have not heard a thing about DeValve. Injured? He maybe gone.
Taki and Wilson may have made things uncomfortable for some?
This is a huge week for a bunch of players. They will practice and then play the Colts. Thankfully we have not had season ending injuries (knock on wood). So from what I see most of the open jobs are for second or third string players and ST.
But who knows? Every year guys get cut that nobody saw coming.
Who is in trouble?

Some guys that may be in trouble before the final 53:
DT Ekuale DE Owens DE Ray
K Seibert P Gillan
OT Fineanganofo C Wright
TE DeValve TE Carlson
WR Montgomery WR D. Baker
RB Ouellette
QB Stanton
Looking at this, why do I suddenly think we may have cut one or two of these guys already?
Oh well.

Don't know the guy Brad Seaton a tackle. Huge guy.
Saw play in the Washington game. He looked really stiff and slow.

Was he the player backing up Robinson? If so, I saw the same thing. OT depth issues.......

He was at RT.
It is not like I zeroed in on him. I just saw a play that he got beat on badly.

So any/all of the LBers not named Kirksey or Schobert or the two guys we just drafted? To clarify: Kirksey, Schobert, Takitaki, Wilson depending of course, on how many LB'ers we keep on the final roster...

Stanton may be expendable if Gilbert shows some progress and capability over the next few weeks.
Devalve will probably get an injury settlement.
GUISEPPE ... hate to say it, but still a long shot to make it.
Ratley? Can’t make it from the tub.
Murray is gone IMO ... I noticed he dropped on the depth chart
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

GUISEPPE ... hate to say it, but still a long shot to make it. I'm glad you were the first to say it. DSG has a great story and had a great moment in the first preseason game but he is a returner and that's it. We don't even know if he's a good returner, he just had one good return in the fourth quarter of a preseason game.

I think we will see more of DSG as a returner in the next few games. With Calloway out, his odds went up significantly.
Still a long shot, but you cannot teach speed. There has not been a good return player since Cribbs.
All the national attention will have people cheering for him. Me included.
There will be no playoffs. Can’t play with who we have out there and compounding it with garbage playcalling and worse execution. We don’t have good skill players on offense period. Browns 20 - Bears 17.

Early predictions:
- Seth DeValve - Damion Ratley - Drew Forbes - Kyle Kalis
....to name a few.

Yeah, plus the return was literally just running straight ahead haha ... but, he’ll have more of a chance to show out now too

He certainly is a long-shot to make the team. He has an outside shot because the Browns might think a dynamic returner is more important that a 6th WR who will never see the field.
The key is how well DSG does in the remaining preseason games.
No matter what, I will be rooting for him.

I don't think his return was just about running straight ahead. His burst and speed fooled the would-be tacklers as they took poor angles towards him. I don't think that is debatable.

DeValve is hurt. Again. Another concussion, but even before that he got hurt. With the rise of Pharoah Brown who is also big, I would be amazed if we kept DeValve.
Sheehy had an amazing run, an amazing story and look how people glommed on to Cajuste. He was one of the big stories on "HK". Sheehy's story is significantly more interesting than his. But, we can't lose sight that he was out there running against the 3's who many will be cut from the 'Skins. That said, I too will be rooting for the guy to succeed and want to see him flip fields and maybe run another one back in the coming games.

Lol I was being facetious mostly .. I mean, it wasn’t the most dynamic return, but yes, it was still skilled

I had same question. They are probably on the team. Think I saw a bunch out of those two; they play, alternate, back up, or ST. So I keep both, I think.
Not to sidetrack the thread, but I will be real interested what our PS priorities will end up being. Depth? Developmental? Wonder if Dorsey has a design for that already. Has been a bunch of signing/leaving taking place. I assume most of it is for the better.

I would bet it might be for flexibility on game days .. the back end of the roster might continuously be shifting
