CLEVELAND, Ohio -- The Browns and Titans open the 2019 season on Sunday afternoon at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Titans are coming off of a 9-7 season that included a 6-3 finish, while the Browns were 7-8-1 a season ago, including 5-3 in their last eight games.
It is, perhaps, the most anticipated opener for the Browns since they returned in 1999. Expectations are high and it marks the official debut of Odell Beckham Jr. at wide receiver.
Here are our picks for Sunday’s game. If you’re into point spreads, the Las Vegas SuperContest has the Browns as 5-point favorites.
Mary Kay Cabot (0-0): Browns 27, Titans 14
They’re here. Let the season of hype begin. It wasn’t all talk.
Dan Labbe (0-0): Browns 24, Titans 14

An amped-up team itching to show what it can do at full strength, and an amped-up crowd going bonkers in the stands. The Titans don’t know what they’re walking into.
Doug Lesmerises: Browns 27, Titans 13
The Browns’ defense rules the day against an overwhelmed Tennessee offensive line, as Myles Garrett opens his Defensive Player of the Year case.
