Figured I’d put this here as an all in one who’s available to claim off waivers and who you probably should avoid drafting to your fantasy team:

Teams in the NFL must cut their rosters to 53 players by 4 p.m. ET on Saturday. Given the irregular offseason, with OTAs and minicamps occurring virtually for the first time, teams have had only training camp, which included 14 padded practices, to see their players in person.


The biggest names let go so far include a pair of running backs -- Adrian Peterson by the Washington Football Team and Lamar Miller by the New England Patriots -- and former first-round pick, quarterback Josh Rosen, by the Miami Dolphins.

Here's a look at the biggest move by each team and all the cuts:

AFC EAST

Buffalo Bills

Biggest move: The Bills' most notable roster move was the decision to keep three quarterbacks, including controversial rookie Jake Fromm, who had a long way to go to earn his teammates' trust after his controversial text messages were leaked this offseason. Buffalo saw him as their backup of the future when it drafted Fromm in April and didn't want to risk losing him by putting him on waivers. -- Marcel Louis-Jacques

Miami Dolphins

Biggest move: Dumping Josh Rosen just one year after giving up a second-round pick to get him shows what Miami thought of the young quarterback, but more importantly it gives you insight into their comfort in rookie Tua Tagovailoa's health and development. Tagovailoa has proven healthy and beat out Rosen for the No.2 QB role, so he should be active on game days and one snap from playing. It's disappointing that the Dolphins struck out on Rosen, who now is at a career crossroads. It's also a sign that coach Brian Flores says not every trade or draft pick works out the way you hope. -- Cameron Wolfe

Biggest move: Releasing rookie kicker Justin Rohrwasser, their fifth-round pick (No. 159), which reinforced what reporters had seen in training camp: A lack of consistency compared to veteran Nick Folk meant he wasn't ready. Rohrwasser, who might have been dealing with an injury early in camp, would ideally clear waivers and return to the practice squad. The Patriots also released Folk, but that could be procedural because he doesn't have to clear waivers, so it opens an initial spot to slide a player to short-term injured reserve. -- Mike Reiss

Biggest move: QB Joe Flacco, yet to practice because of April neck surgery, passed his physical and is on the 53-man roster. Flacco is targeting Week 3 as his return, a source said, which will require some roster gymnastics for the Jets' opener against the Bills. Look for them to add David Fales or Mike White to the game-day roster to serve as the QB2 behind Sam Darnold. Both Fales and White were cut Saturday, but they almost certainly will clear waivers, making them practice-squad eligible. One of them -- probably Fales -- will get called up. After the game, he can be sent back to the practice squad without having to be exposed to waivers -- a new rule. Smart roster management by the Jets. Rookie James Morgan is on the 53, but he's not nearly ready to play. -- Rich Cimini

Biggest move: The Ravens went with Trace McSorley as the No. 3 quarterback over Tyler Huntley, a mild surprise because Huntley outplayed McSorley in training camp and showed a stronger arm. One reason why the Ravens decided to cut Huntley is because he's an undrafted rookie. With teams not having any preseason tape on Huntley, it'll be easier for Baltimore to get him through waivers and onto the practice squad. This marks the first time in the franchise's 25-year history that the Ravens kept the same three quarterbacks (Lamar Jackson, Robert Griffin III and McSorley) from the previous year on their season-opening roster. -- Jamison Hensley

Biggest move: Make no mistake about it: The Bengals are all-in on rookie quarterback Joe Burrow. Cincinnati released two of its quarterbacks, veteran Brandon Allen and second-year player Jake Dolegala, which tentatively gives the Bengals two players at that position. In addition to Burrow at the top of the depth chart, Cincinnati has second-year player Ryan Finley as the backup. Cincinnati opted not to keep Allen, a veteran with some starting experience, and Dolegala, a project player who was rostered all of 2019. -- Ben Baby

Cleveland Browns

Biggest move: The Browns decided, for now at least, will go with five tight ends in perhaps the most surprising development of cut-down day in Cleveland. With fourth-round draft pick Harrison Bryant having turned heads in camp, Cleveland also opted to keep Stephen Carlson and Pharaoh Brown, along with projected starters Austin Hooper and David Njoku in Kevin Stefanski's two-tight end system. Brown gives the Browns a block-first element off the edge, while Carlson is coming off a promising 2019 rookie season. Keeping five tight ends also gives Cleveland the flexibility to listen to any offer that might come for Njoku, who requested a trade in the offseason before later rescinding it. -- Jake Trotter

Then, in camp, Switzer sustained an ankle injury that slowed him. Despite Switzer's experience and connection with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, the Steelers opted to keep recently signed speedy WR and returner Ray Ray McCloud over UNC product. -- Brooke Pryor

Biggest move: The Texans waived tight end Jordan Thomas, a sixth-round pick in 2018 who had a solid rookie season but spent most of 2019 on injured reserve. He reported for training camp in great shape and coach Bill O'Brien praised him on more than one occasion. If he isn't claimed by another team, he should have a spot on Houston's practice squad. This move also meant that tight end Kahale Warring made the initial 53-man roster. Warring, a third-round pick in 2019, spent all of last season on injured reserve. -- Sarah Barshop

Biggest move: The Colts deciding to go with unproven rookie kicker Rodrigo Blankenship over Chase McLaughlin at kicker. Blankenship and McLaughlin appeared to be in a pretty tight race to replace veteran Adam Vinatieri. You would have thought McLaughlin had the edge over the former University of Georgia product after he went 5-of-6 on field goals and 11-of-11 on extra points in four games with the Colts late last season. But Blankenship did enough to impress the coaching staff to win the job. He made all 200 of his extra point attempts and 80 of 97 field goal attempts (82.5%) while at Georgia. -- Mike Wells

Biggest move: Cutting quarterback Josh Dobbs isn't a surprise, but cutting quarterback Mike Glennon, too, certainly is. The Jaguars brought Glennon in to be a veteran presence and to have valuable experience behind Gardner Minshew in case of in injury. Glennon didn't have a great camp but sixth-round pick Jake Luton did and it make sense he made the team over Dobbs. So the Jaguars are apparently counting on sixth-round magic for the second year in a row if their starter gets hurt. -- Mike DiRocco

Tennessee Titans

Biggest move: The Titans released quarterback Trevor Siemian after signing him a week into camp. Siemian battled with Logan Woodside for the backup spot. Initially, it was believed that Siemian would have the inside track since he has 25 career starts while Woodside has yet to take a snap in a regular-season game. Neither quarterback separated from the competition. Head coach Mike Vrabel and GM Jon Robinson both have been complimentary of Woodside's work ethic and grasp of the offense throughout the offseason, stating he is capable of being Tennessee's backup. They stayed true to their word by releasing Siemian and keeping Woodside. -- Turron Davenport

Denver Broncos

Biggest move: The Broncos made their most notable move Friday when they called starting inside linebacker Todd Davis out of the linebackers meeting to tell him he was going to be released. Davis started at least 14 games in each of the past four seasons for the Broncos and was one of just three players on the roster who had played in the Super Bowl 50 win, but a calf injury put him on the sideline for most of this training camp. As he was working to come back, the Broncos liked what Josey Jewell did in the base defense and saw enough from new arrival Mark Barron in the nickel to decide to let Davis go. The Broncos will miss Davis' constant effort, both in practice and games, and his calming voice in the locker room. Cornerback De'Vante Bausby, wide receiver Fred Brown and tackle Jake Rodgers had each started at least one game last season for Broncos and didn't make it nor did linebacker Justin Hollins, a fifth-round pick in 2019. The Broncos do want Hollins back on the expanded practice squad. -- Jeff Legwold

Biggest move: The Chiefs gave up on defensive end Breeland Speaks, a player they traded up to draft in the second round in 2018. Speaks played linebacker as a rookie and then missed all of last season with an injury, so it's fair to wonder whether the Chiefs ever gave him a chance. He was squeezed out after the Chiefs this year drafted Mike Danna and signed Taco Charlton. Both will provide depth behind the top three of Frank Clark, Alex Okafor and Tanoh Kpassagnon. -- Adam Teicher

Las Vegas Raiders

Biggest move: Trading third-round pick Lynn Bowden Jr. As the nation's most versatile college player, coach Jon Gruden had a seeming Swiss Army Knife at his disposal. Alas, Bowden's transition from college QB/WR/KR to NFL RB was rocky at best and he did not have a good camp. Sure, the Raiders essentially got linebacker Raekwon McMillan and the fourth-round pick they gave the Dolphins back for Bowden and a sixth-rounder, but whiffing with the No. 80 pick is a bad look. Especially with the Raiders having paid Bowden's $985,000 bonus and GM Mike Mayock relishing Las Vegas' three picks in the third round, saying back in April, "That, to me...is just like stealing. If we're doing our jobs the right way, hopefully, that's three more starters." -- Paul Gutierrez

Los Angeles Chargers

Biggest move: With uncertainty around the Week 1 status of receiver Mike Williams, who is dealing with a shoulder injury, the Chargers opted to keep six receivers and signed Keenan Allen to a four-year $80 million deal, including $50 million in guaranteed money. However, fourth-year pro Darrius Jennings, who the Chargers signed to a one-year, $935,000 contract in March, didn't make the cut. Jennings was expected to provide a boost as a kickoff returner. -- Lindsey Thiry

Dallas Cowboys

Biggest move: The biggest move the Cowboys made came Thursday when they cut veteran safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix. There were no other big moves among the Cowboys' final cuts Saturday, but there is an eye to making more moves on Sunday with some of their decisions. Linebacker Justin March and cornerback C.J. Goodwin were among the 27 moves to reach the 53-man limit, but both are expected back on the roster as soon as Sunday. Linebacker Sean Lee will be placed on injured reserve because of a pelvis strain but in order to return to action this season, he needed to be on the 53-man roster for a day. Lee played through a similar injury late last season but the Cowboys want to give him time for rehab. If all goes well, he will be back for Week 4. Another injury that bears watching is right tackle La'el Collins, who did not practice late last week because of a hip injury. Cornerback Jourdan Lewis (ankle), linebacker Luke Gifford (hamstring), wide receiver Ventell Bryant (knee) and right tackle La'el Collins (hip) have injury statuses that could lead them to IR on Sunday and knocking them out of the first three games. -- Todd Archer

New York Giants

Biggest move: Waiving LB Ryan Connelly. It's not that Connelly, a fifth-round pick last year, was so good this summer that it's irresponsible for the Giants to keep him off the roster. That's not the case at all. Connelly is coming back from a serious knee injury last year and spent several days this summer on the sideline. It's just that Connelly flashed last season - albeit in a limited sample size - and was so consistently praised for his instincts. But clearly the new regime believes there are physical limitations, and that landed him off the Giants' initial 53-man roster. -- Jordan Raanan

Philadelphia Eagles

Biggest move: The Eagles released former second-round pick Sidney Jones. He was considered one of the elite cornerbacks in the 2017 draft but ruptured his Achilles at his pro day and has been hampered by various injuries ever since. Jones, 24, was hoping to vie for the starting corner spot opposite Darius Slay during training camp but missed a significant amount of practice time with a lower-body issue, allowing Avonte Maddox to run away with the competition. A change of scenery might be just what the doctor ordered for Jones, though the Eagles have interest in signing him to the practice squad should he go unclaimed on waivers. -- Tim McManus

Biggest move: It's a tie between keeping quarterback Alex Smith and releasing running back Adrian Peterson. At the start of camp, their situations would have been reversed. But Smith showed he has recovered enough from the 2018 broken tibia and fibula (and 17 surgeries) that he still offers value, even if it's just as a third quarterback. Peterson was the top running back for most of training camp. But in the last week that changed. Other backs were developing and quarterback Dwayne Haskins grew comfortable running an offense that would feature multiple options because of its running back versatility. -- John Keim

Biggest move: Teams don't often cut non-seventh-round draft picks as rookies. Yet the Lions did Saturday without even seeing running back Jason Huntley play in a preseason game. Huntley had an inconsistent camp -- he was dynamic as a pass-catcher and was stronger-than-expected as a rusher but bobbled multiple return attempts. The thought process in drafting him was he would compete with Jamal Agnew for the return spot and Ty Johnson for a running back slot. Agnew turned in a great camp in his transition to receiver and looked sharp as a returner and Johnson was much improved as a runner. So it could have been a numbers game for Huntley, who could end up on the practice squad if he clears waivers Sunday. -- Michael Rothstein

Biggest move: The receiver group didn't play out how some might have thought. A day after Aaron Rodgers mentioned on SiriusXM NFL radio that he felt good about the four returners who played last season - Davante Adams, Allen Lazard, Marquez Valdes-Scantling and Jake Kumerow - but didn't know what they had behind them, the Packers cut Kumerow. New to the receiver group were Equanimeous St. Brown (IR all last year) and Malik Taylor (practice squad last season). The emergence of Tyler Ervin as a dual threat RB/WR also might have contributed to the change. For the first time in 15 years, the Packers didn't keep a single undrafted rookie coming out of camp. It's partially due to not having any preseason games for them to impress and partially due to them feeling like they can sneak them through waivers to the expanded 16-man practice squad because no one else saw them. They kept seven of their nine draft picks in the initial 53. Biggest move: The Vikings kept seven receivers on the initial 53-man roster, but one of the biggest risers in training camp was waived on Saturday. Minnesota hopes to get second-year wideout Alexander Hollins onto the practice squad after he challenged Chad Beebe and Tajae Sharpe for reps in camp, both of whom fill out the WR depth chart behind Adam Thielen, Bisi Johnson, Justin Jefferson, fifth-round draft pick/return specialist K.J.Osborn and Dan Chisena, the only UDFA to make Minnesota's 53. Chisena switched briefly to safety last week before moving back to receiver and helped his case to make the roster based on his special teams play. The Vikings will soon comb the waiver wire looking to add safety depth behind Harrison Smith and Anthony Harris. He would have been more of a reserve with the Falcons confident in Russell Gage behind top two receivers Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley and another big receiver in Christian Blake making the team. The release of Temarrick Hemingway was also significant, leaving only two tight ends -- Ian Thomas and Chris Manhertz. Biggest move: The Saints' two biggest surprises were releasing receiver Bennie Fowler III and keeping two punters in veteran Thomas Morstead and undrafted rookie Blake Gillikin. It's unclear how long the Saints plan to keep both punters on the active roster. But it's apparent they want to avoid losing the promising youngster from Penn State to another team. The Saints actually kept three undrafted rookies (Gillikin, WR Marquez Callaway, DT Malcolm Roach) and two first-year pros (LB Chase Hansen, OL Derrick Kelly II). Impressive for them to break through despite the abbreviated offseason. ... One more item of note: The Saints kept only four DEs while they continue to pursue free agent Jadeveon Clowney. However, a source said it's likely they could bring back veteran Margus Hunt. -- Mike Triplett

Biggest move: There were two: cornerback Chris Jones and rookie linebacker Evan Weaver were released. Jones played some important snaps for the Cardinals last season and with the season-ending pec injury to Robert Alford during camp impacting the secondary, Jones appeared to be someone who could give Arizona some much-needed depth. And Weaver, as a sixth-round draft pick, was someone the coaching staff spoke highly about because of his collegiate production and was believed to be a work-horse type of player that would provide some depth early in his NFL career. -- Josh Weinfuss

Biggest move: The Rams signed three kickers to compete in training camp for the job left behind by Greg Zuerlein, who signed in free agency with the Dallas Cowboys. It appeared former CFL kicker Lirim Hajrullahu and XFL kicker Austin McGinnis were the frontrunners in the competition throughout most of training camp, so it comes as a surprise that Sam Sloman, a seventh-round pick from Miami-Ohio, won the job. "Sam really just made a push these last couple days," Rams coach Sean McVay said after cuts were announced. Sidney Johnson also intrigued me. I remember him being a top 15 talent who was hurt. Sounds like he never got healthy or a chance. If I’m the Packers I’m going after at least 2 of those WRs. Good lord do they are just trying to make it as hard as possible for Rodgers to have anyone to throw to

Was hoping to find someone who might be decent edge depth for the practice squad, but I didn't see anyone that stood out. The Patriots had Rashod Berry listed as an OLB, which is kind of interesting. He played some DE at Ohio State and he's a local (Lorain) kid. Has the athleticism, but probably pretty raw after mainly playing TE at OSU. Stefanski does seem to like his TEs, though.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Browns released their initial 53-man roster Saturday afternoon. It probably will change in the next few days as some players cut by other teams will be attractive to the GM Andrew Berry and his front office. But let’s scribble about some of the names:

1. One of my favorite Browns is Rashard Higgins. He survived the cuts and appears to be set as the No. 3 wide receiver behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry. Higgins is the only 2016 draftee left with the team. He was one of four receivers picked that year.

2. To be fair, the Sashi Brown front office drafted 14 players in 2016, and a few are elsewhere. Joe Schobert will start at linebacker for Jacksonville. Defensive ends Carl Nassib (Las Vegas) and Emmanuel Ogbah (Miami) are expected to start for their teams. But the big miss was first-rounder Corey Coleman, who has been cut by several teams and is trying to make a comeback with the New York Giants.

3. I long for the day when a front office is around for more than two drafts. The last one was the Mike Holmgren/Tom Hecker combination (2010-12). Since then, we’ve had Joe Banner (2013), Ray Farmer (2014-15), Sashi Brown (2016-17), John Dorsey (2018-19) and Andrew Berry (2020).

4. It’s why the Browns have only seven players left from the 2016-18 drafts: Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, Denzel Ward, Myles Garrett, Larry Ogunjobi, David Njoku and Higgins. You can’t build a team with so many different draft strategies and so many misses.

5. Here are some of the players cut Saturday from the Dorsey regime: Chad Thomas, Damion Ratley and Donnie Lewis Jr. Undrafted free agent Dontrell Hilliard (a Dorsey favorite) also was cut. I can’t argue with any of those decisions. Ratley couldn’t stay healthy. I have no memory of Lewis playing. Thomas was an athlete who had trouble learning defensive end. Hilliard failed to take advantage after Duke Johnson was traded a year ago.

6. The Browns are counting on some of Dorsey’s 2019 picks to come through. The most obvious is cornerback Greedy Williams, who has missed a lot of camp with a shoulder problem. Third-rounder Sione Takitaki is set to start at linebacker. Mack Williams (a fifth-rounder) was expected to start at linebacker until hurting his knee.

7. It’s hard to give even first impressions of Berry’s 2020 draft without preseason games and only limited practices due to COVID-19. First-rounder Jedrick Wills Jr. is set to start at left tackle. Fifth-rounder Nick Harris will start at center unless J.C. Tretter (knee injury) is able to play. Fourth-rounder Harrison Bryant had some nice moments at tight end. All six picks made the roster.

8. The Browns gave undrafted free agent cornerback AJ Green a $145,000 guarantee. He was cut, but probably will be on the practice squad. The same with safeties Elijah Benton and Javonte Moffat. Both were not drafted, but the Browns’ scouts like them. Add the name of linebacker Solomon Ajayi to that list of those cut but could be back on the practice squad.

9. Depth on the offensive line is important and the Browns should have it. They re-worked the contract of Chris Hubbard, who can play both tackle spots and some guard. Kendall Lamm also can play both tackle positions, but his career has been haunted by injuries. Center/guard Evan Brown made the team. I never heard of him. He’s 23 and previously was with Dallas and the Giants, mostly on the practice squads.

10. New Browns coach Kevin Stefanski loves tight ends and five made the roster: Austin Hooper, Stephen Carlson, Harrison Bryant, David Njoku and Pharaoh Brown. The tight end obsession aside, this still seems like one too many. I wonder if Njoku could be headed elsewhere.

Thanks for the information. I did not study the list, but I really can't say that I saw anyone on the lists that jumped out at me. Rather uninspiring.
