Teller is week to week ... dang, i was hoping day to day

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Teller got dinged early; I don't recall Tretter being mentioned as hurt, at all.
I saw Teller, didn't see Tretter. Someone mentioned Conklin stepped in for him and I even missed that (somehow).

Good. Now, let's bring in someone that can actually help us.

Browns is the Browns

I read that too here...however I didn't see it...Odd if true, why Conklin would slide there instead of Nick Harris...to my eyes, I never saw Conklin anywhere but RT.

From what I've seen the injury to Greedy is a nerve damage issue. Those can be a very confusing injury. Sometime nerve damage can repair itself quickly. Sometimes it can be a nagging, ongoing issue. This one has certainly played out to be the latter of the two.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

How many people still want to trade Money Mitch?

Please remember this -------

YOU CANNOT HAVE TOO MANY GOOD PLAYERS.

(And yes, I understand money implications/salary cap, etc.)

I didn’t want to trade Mitchell, I just thought we would. Luckily our new front office didn’t jettison players for no reason other than they weren’t “their” guys.

Thankfully, we don't seem to see that from this FO. They genuinely don't seem to care at all whose guy a player is; if they're here, they're OUR guy and that's that. They're either good enough to be here or they aren't; and that's how it should be.

I have had several nerve issues over the years. I had a problem with my right shoulder back around 2000 or so. Doctors put me through physical therapy, and it about killed me. It literally felt like someone dipped a hot knife in vinegar and salt, and ripped open my right shoulder blade. Finally I went to an orthopedic surgeon, who took one look at my x-rays and MRI, and saw the problem right away. He went in and cleaned out the shoulder joint, re-routed the nerve, and I was good from the moment I came out of the anesthesia. It often just takes the right doctor/surgeon to see what is actually happening, instead of just chasing symptoms.

Yeah, it's an odd thing with nerve issues. They have said this one won't require surgery. Some pass quick and some linger. This one has lingered.

And I can tell you that a nerve issue can start to feel somewhat better, only to reverse course in a hard 180. With a shoulder nerve issue, your arm is undependable to useless.

If Greedy is on IR, does that mean they have a roster spot, that they didn't have yesterday, to bring in another DB?

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Cal misspoke and mentioned Conklin instead of Hubbard. Hope that clears it up.

That is correct. We have an open roster spot, now.

There are a number of teams out there that are going absolutely nowhere this year. We should be looking to poach some talent. We could use a DT, S, CB, LB.

When I learned about the lack of turnover, it was my first indicator that this new bunch might be different than previous bunches. I took it was a positive sign, but I wasn't ready to allow myself to get optimistic. Now it seems that they really are as you described them... and that does indeed make me optimistic.

Still keeping fingers crossed.

I still suffer from BBFD (battered browns fan disease)

Against dallas, at half time, I almost texted my pastor, a big cowboys fan. But I didn't, because in the back of my head was "how are we gonna Browns this game??

Against the colts, a fellow Browns fan texted me after the pick 6, saying "That was awesome!" I texted back, yes, it was.............only to see the kickoff return for a touchdown. And then the ensuing pick.

I texted him back "this stinks"

Friend texted back "I know. I promise to never text you during a Browns game again."

1. Teller's injury is to the calf. Hopefully not a bad tear but I do see him as the Starting RG in our Game day depth chart for the Steelers game.

2. Hubbard came in at RG - Conklin remained at his RT position. Hubbard is becoming a pretty good 6th man for our OL stepping up.

Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off!
