https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...-garretts-knee/Santa does exist! Browns defensive end Myles Garrett was banged up after Sunday’s loss to the Raiders and it sounds like the bye week should help him recover in time to play in the team’s next game. Garrett hurt his knee and went for an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said on Monday that the team “dodged a bullet” because there was no major problem. “Nothing structurally significant,” Stefanski said, via 92.3 The Fan. “So we should have him available, definitely, for the next ball game.” The Browns play the Texans in Week 10. Garrett came into the game with an ankle injury and he said after the game that he took a painkilling shot for his right wrist before the game. He was limited to 33 snaps and his consecutive-game sack streak came to an end at six.

John 3:16 Jesus said "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

Garrett: No structural damage As a veteran of how the Browns release injury info, I have to ask: what kind of damage did it show? Why was the word "structural" even included in that press release?

I think it was a bad contusion
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

My question is did any of our media types ask them to define "structural damage" when that got reported? The Browns, much like the Clinton Whitehouse, always tell the truth slowly.

Probably because it is just a bruised knee, so if you were like me playing some sort of ball game or running around the woods doing one thing or another and not sitting behind a piano 3 hours a day, no sweat. He will limp it off in 3-4 days.

Outstanding info that! Hope this bye can help him get better. I also hope his wrist issues clear up or improve at least!
He is our D it appears. Carrying too many people who should step up.

I've done that before. Went knee-to-knee with someone in a friendly football game (tackle, no pads). It hurt like you-know-what, but no actual damage. Health-wise, I could go to hockey practice... but man oh man, playing was a STRUGGLE with a knee that felt like it was about to explode.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

Well that's good news, if we lose Garrett I could actually see us ending the season 7-9 or worse. Not that the team is that bad without him normally but we're like 40% injured.

If we lose Garrett we could end up 5-11.
How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?
