If your best WR is single covered and not bracketed with a safety, why do you have him on the field? And more importantly, why aren't you giving him at least a shot at getting the completion?

I think we see why we haven’t given him his money yet. He hasn’t proved he’s the guy yet. Better than what we had for sure but not saying much

That really was a good throw by Baker .... his receivers just got tied up.

The All 22 footage of this game is going to be quite telling, especially from an offensive standpoint.

And we go out with a whimper... Kinda saw it coming at halftime.
Einstein could not even fathom the mathematical improbabilities of the Browns woes.

What hurts even worse than the loss is the injuries. We have to play the cardinals without all 3 starting corners and both starting offensive tackles at the very least

What a pathetic effort by stefanski and baker. That is not good football. You both should be ashamed

Cardinals will mop the floor with us. They might score 80

I like Baker. He’s a good guy. Great teammate.
He ain’t a 45 million dollar a year QB. You pay a guy that money when he can take the ball with 1:30 left in the game and give you a chance. He doesn’t ever do that.
Good guy. Fun to root for. Not a guy you pay record QB money to. Sorry.

Defenses are starting to roll coverage away from OBJ since he's not used to his strengths. Gotta figure out how to better use him if you're the Browns.

The browns have never figured out how to use OBJ. It is one of the most incredible things to watch. You have a Ferrari and you can’t figure out how to get it out of the garage.
Amazing to watch…

Amazing to watch… On that over the shoulder throw he attempted to Higgins, OBJ was one on one with a smaller CB; if you won't even give him a chance, why do you have him? Also - why does DPJ have more balls thrown his way than OBJ? And on that last drive that you had to punt to the Chargers, Chubb wasn't on the field for any play - why?

I saw him (Chubb) a lot with Stump Mitchell the last few minutes of the game...Nut not sure why he wasn't in, other than perhaps he is more one dimensional than Kareem Hunt. Idk why but the last play, why did it seem DPJ was lost...he was already gearing down (I'm sure if he lost the ball in the air, and just didnt see it) But I know the ball was behind...Just thought he could have made a better effort there.

Speaking of poor effort -
Baker threw a beautiful deep ball to Schwartz who half arsed it. Run to the ball young man. Wth were you doing?
And I agree with the one poster. If you're not going to use OBJ, what's the point? Just move on from him.
Baker won't look at him. Won't throw to him. I just don't get it. Watch all the best QBs use their weapons. This is becoming a bigger mystery than almost anything.

It's one thing if it's a familiarity issue, but seeing as how the game is becoming more and more analytic based - if this trend with him not using OBJ continues, don't be surprised if the Browns make a move with a different QB in the offseason based on analytics. This season would be a big enough of sample size for the front office to take the risk. If I'm a Browns fan, I might start asking the question - does Stefanski REALLY trust Mayfield to win the game if it's on the line in the 4th quarter?

Good guy. Fun to root for. Not a guy you pay record QB money to. Sorry. So that was someone else who played in the Cincy game and threw the TD before the clock expired. And again that was someone else who scored with under 2 minutes in the the Raven game last December, only to have the defense give up the winning score? I would bet you blamed Baker because he scored to fast in that one. Your not so smart and you have a short memory.
