His dad was a longtime coach in the nfl. he Has been in the league for a while now.

He wanted to coach here when we blew up the Petine/johnny football/ regime collapsed. We picked kitchens over a Shanahan.

I`m good with Baker... Playoffs is good enough for me.

"A date that will live in infamy!"

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Explain to me how the jaguars wrs can stretch out to make a catch and make their @b look so much better
but the Browns WRs can't put forth that same effort.
and therefore
their offense looks so much better than the Browns

The Browns offense still has problems.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Most humbly question why you think the Browns will be
Super Bowl contenders next year?
I understand the QB position will be upgraded
But this team has more glaring holes than many want
To admit.
All I hear is how much talent this team has year after year
Yet it's another year no playoffs
I don't this team has intelligent players on defense
They lack physical players on defense
I really have no faith in Berry
How many gamechangers has Berry drafted ?
SB contenders have true game changers at every level
On the field

Sure, I'll try and answer.

We finally have an elite qb that can go head-to-head w/the other great QBs in the AFC [Mahomes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Lamar.]

Secondly, I think we have an excellent head coach and a very good to great offensive staff. Stefanksi gives us an edge in almost every game w/his play calling and clock management.

Yes, we have some holes. However, which team does not? How good is KCs secondary? How good are the OLs in Buffalo, Cinci, LA? How good is Miami's secondary? How good is Baltimore's secondary? Some of you guys act like all these other teams have elite talent at every position. That's just not true.

I consider several teams in the AFC as Super Bowl contenders next year at this particular point in time. KC, Buffalo, Cinci, Chargers, Baltimore, Dolphins, and the Jets. I think the Jets are certainly going to need to resolve their QB position and while Tua has improved, I am not certain about him.

Being a Super Bowl contender doesn't mean a whole lot because all the teams will have to prove it on the field. However, I have no problem saying we can contend for a Super Bowl next year. We will have an elite qb, our OL is elite when healthy, our RBs are second to none, we have a rising star at TE, excellent corners, and a dominant Edge.

Kitchens was way after the Pettine/Shanny/Manziel team right? I get my failed regimes mixed up haha

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

That's a educated response. Well thought out.
You are correct every team has a weakness. But which teams are
The most complete...?
BUFFALO , CINCY, KANSAS CITY,MIAMI ....then next tier is San Diego, NY Jets...
I think teams like The Ravens ,Colts, Texans, are trending down
Or are in rebuild mode. The Jags could be scary good next year.
The Pats are spinning in circles.
The Browns have a great deal of individual talent but it's not
Equating to a playoff team.
I know everyone is gaga over the Browns running game
2 great RBs blah blah blah. But where has this talented
Running game got the Browns ?
The Browns offense has to be more dynamic in the passing
Game in order to be a SB contender.
I think the oline needs help.
Willis is lazy and not motivated. Teller has dropped off.
Conklin can't play a full season
Defensively I don't see enough game changers.
I don't see high football I.Q on that side of the ball.
I believe the Browns can get to the playoffs next year.
But not having a 1st RD pick really makes it hard to acquire
A impact player in the draft.
And Berry's draft record as of now is underwhelming

It would have been if it had actually happened. It did not.

Shanahan left at the end of the 2014 season, before 2015 season.

Pettine coached the 2015 season, then we got Jackson in 2016, kitchens in 2019, and Stefanski in 2020.

Don't know how he got to picking Kitchens over Shanahan from that timeline.

We don't have to agree with each other, to respect each others opinion.
