I saw this story yesterday and just couldn't get it out of my mind. It didn't seem to fit into Clem's good news thread. It just seemed like such a moving story that I thought others may wish to see it.

Beautiful story, and also tragic that it even has to be that way.

Then there's a young child's story

Real people are going through real things.

This child is going through one of the realest things a Human Being could ever experience... and she's managed to do it with class, while also setting an example for the rest of us.

Happy ending, of sorts. Scottsboro is maybe a 1 hour drive at best. I drive that way often to visit my sister in the Montgomery area. My initial thought was to drive down and purchase a very expensive cup of lemonaid.
