According to Scout.com, quarterback Shavodrick Beaver from Wichita, TX. has decided to be a Wolverine.

"I just felt like it was the right decision for me. I'm pretty solid with it," Beaver said.

He joins Kevin Newsome as a 2009 QB.

Beaver (6'3'' 185 LBS) is a 4-Star QB out of Wichita Falls, TX. Rivals ranks him as the #176 ranked player in the class of 2009 (#6 Dual Threat QB). Passed for 2,631 yards, 31 TDs, ran for 482 and 5 TD's as a junior.

He should have gone to Oregon State. If things didn't work out as QB, he'd be a shoe in as the mascot.
