Yeah, they have been at the editing stage for a little while now. They have been updating the main Boondock Saints page with updates from filming and editing.

Sweet. Haven't watched the original in years.

I read that it was easily the highest grossing straight-to-video film ever.

Well it wasn't exactly meant to be a straight to video movie but some things happened which changed it's original plan.

I loved the first one. How much I like this movie depends on what all is the same? Same brothers right? Same Il Duce' right? Then we have a good movie, but it would be perfect if Willem DeFoe were still in it.. Him and the other cops in the 1st movie helped make it such a great film...

Compared to #1... this will be a disappointment though, folks. Mark my words.

As long as it's not bad as another sequel I was dumb enough to look foward to (The Punisher 2 lol) then I'll be content with it...

It's been a long time since I've seen it, but wasn't his character killed in the first one? Man, he was great in that movie though.

King, you have to see the first one, you will LOVE it. I can hardly wait until the end of October too see the next one.

Dafoe lived---but Rocco, the long haired dude died. But apparently they find another long-haired sidekick in this one---at least it looks that way in the trailer.

I heard about this some time ago, and I thought it was a BAD idea. Boondock Saints was a GREAT movie. The kind of movie that you don't screw up by trying to make a sequel. I think that it is pretty much Guaranteed to disappoint. Maybe I am just being a pessimist, but I just don't think that you can match the first one.

It will be interesting to see what angle Duffy takes with the film. Like if the media and public opinion will come into play similar to the last movie. And how he goes about incorporating the religious motive.

My biggest fear with this movie, is that it will play out as nearly a carbon-copy of the first one.

Rocco is in this one too somehow. His names is on the credits on IMDB. Probably a flashback of some sorts.
