hey guys. I have an idea. It could be good. could not. but I think we should twitter nfl players who are free agents(who we want) and tell them to come to cleveland. since its twitter they want to communicate with the public. and us trying to tell them about the browns shows good fan support. which they may be attracted to. just a thought

Very true. Cash speaks louder than words. However the browns can probably offer lots of legitiment chances to start unless you play LT or want to KR hah.

Also I but Joe Jurevicius could have got a little more cash from somewhere else. But he is from Ohio so thats maybe a little differant.

Really not a bad idea. While the odds of us actually helping land a big time free agent are minimal, it would at least make us feel good. Plus, if you think about it, if two teams are offering the same amount of money and a guy is getting positive vibes from Cleveland fans, it could be a tie breaker. Probably not, but there's always a chance.

i really don't think we're in position to make too many free agent moves, i think the complete focus of the cleveland browns should be these 11 picks.

outside of qb, i don't really want any kind of a veteran/teacher type player anymore. i just want some young guys that can get after it. i think smaller moves that may not make giant headlines are probably the smarter thing for us right now.

but it's about those picks, we can't keep screwing these up...

Easy. Say you're going to tweet Josh Cribbs...you go...

"@JoshCribbs16 Congrats on the new contract! You inspire all of us who work hard."

Not difficult at all.

Yah thats what I was thinking. There is a very small chance and hey it gives us something to do that takes pretty minimal effort.

I'm pretty sure that Antonio Cromartie has been doing enough twittering for us all...

I am unfamiliar with this feeling of optimism

JC Ammo/sort of

Yeah we can get some positive vibes going to help lure FAs here but that would all be nullified when they see how CERTAIN Browns fans harassed Braylon Edwards after he was traded

If you're referring to me, I have ABSOLUTELY NO regrets telling that assclown where to go. Brandon McDonald too.

On the flipside, you should see the love guys like E-Wizzle and Josh Cribbs get.

Cause Twitter is a lame phase of the current society. I'll be happy once it passes like green polyester leisure suits.

Your job is to twitt, or is it tweet, all day?

You went to college for that?

Damn this world is doomed.

So Twitter is just something you use because it's available, not because it defines your job. If Twitter was never invented or died as soon as it was created, you wouldn't be without a job.

If Windows was discontinued, I wouldn't be out of job, I would just be maintaining a different network, be it Linux, Unix, Novell, Mac, whatever.

Right.

Still, Twitter has been an invaluable tool for keeping up on news and connecting with others. I don't see it going away because there is a big enough base that understands its usefulness. This isn't Myspace.

Twitter may fade away but it will be replaced by something similar but improved....the same way facebook overran myspace.

Social media is here to stay. Its a new business reality and if you want to stay ahead, it would behoove you to learn it. I was a huge skeptic of it but I've taken the time to learn a bit more about it and tied it in with some strategies I've developed and it can be a huge help.

It's not the be all, end all but it can be a useful tool.

And so far, Fletch's prophecy of the Real World "slapping me in the face" hasn't happened. Love my job and what's potentially in store for it.

Oh, now you did it.......you mentioned fletch. Pretty soon he'll be on here lambasting you - probably in a p.m. He'll be calling you names, say you responded just as he thought you would, tell you no one on this board cares about you or if you die, and that he's smarter than you.

At least that's what he did to me the last time I mentioned his name.

Oh well, no biggie.

Board aficionados remember the spat I had with him for several months straight when I was talking about college life. Kept telling me I was going to fail at life because I "didn't take things serious enough."

Yeah, right.
