What players surprised you?
Reaches & Drops.

Trent Williams at #4?

Zane Beadles in the 2nd and ahead of Asamoah?
People wanted him in the 6th

Torell Troup in the early 2nd?

Clausen/Tebow/McCoy.

Bruce Campbell in the 4th.
Some people had him at #8 to the Raiders, they got him in the 4th round instead.

Selvish Capers and George Selvie in the 7th.

What are your thoughts?

Personally I was really surprised Clausen fell that hard. I will be watching him.

Also, although I can't really be grumpy about Haden, I will be watching for Spiller all next year.

As long as I'm bitching, I'd rather have taken The DE from WA, Te-O over McCoy or anyone. I loved the Geathers pick.

At the time of the draft for me the biggest one for me was T.J Ward. I had never really heard of him and one of my draft magazines had him as the 25th rated safety going in the 7th round.

But then upon further inspection they had Jonathan Crompton as the second best QB which led me to believe they had no clue what they were talking about.

The biggest surprise has to be Legarrett Blount. Did anyone see him falling off the board?

Given the baggage he was carrying, I expected a BIG drop. However, I thought somebody would draft him late. Maybe he just wasn't a good enough all-around back to take a chance on him? I don't know... ::shrug::

Honestly, I'm surprised the two QB's fell as far as they did.

Myron Rolle dropping was a surprise.

I am yet am not surprised Blount went undrafted. Dude is a headcase at a position where you can get them by the dozen.

I think teams learned there lessons with Lawerence Phillips and clarrett. With tams being fined for players actions now I think they are shying away from thiose types of players.
