Does anybody have a comprehensive listing of probable free agents??
here's a list. they list everyone and note some of the obvious names that won't actually get out there (like Brees)

It's all just rumor-mongering.... and exceptionally weak rumor-mongering at that.
And borderline tampering
How does a league celebrating its 100th season only recognize the 53 most recent championships?

something is wrong with their links if you go straight to positions. make sure it says 2012 at the top.
you either can just click on the "continue to next" links from the first page or change the address at the top from '2011' to '2012'
(sorry, didn't notice this until you said it as i had used the 'continue' links to scroll)

Lynch was only 20-years-old when he was drafted.

I think it's pretty much a done deal that the Bears will franchise Forte.

yep, Michael Bush may be the best UFA (and the Raiders may lock him down before he gets there)

Having not put the time in as many I here , I would make a few observations....
1)....I'm not sure that another no name NFL QB will do any better than McCoy and do we Really want another Rookie QB ?
2)....Overall team speeds Must be improved....Speed kills in the NFL.
3)....We need to find a RB who hits the holes in stride(This may be partly a lack of speed and also the holes closing.) but it seemed like RBs on other teams do a Better job at it.
4)....WR....Again a combination of size , speed and hands , plus getting the timing down so that our WRs could catch the ball in stride is a must.
5)....OL....Anyway that we can upgrade the OL should be done.
6)....Play calling should be straight forward....As an example IF it's 3rd and 4 we should be able to run the ball on 3rd & 4th down and get a 1st down with out having to pass the ball and our pasiing game should focus on short to medium High % Passes which emphasize yards after the catch.

I like your points. Here's my thoughts on them: Quote:

all QBs are no-name guys until they become name guys

glaringly missing at WR and LB specifically on our team.

one reason I like Lamar Miller

seems like the draft is pretty deep plus there are some under-the-radar FA WRs that might help here: Meachem, Douglass, Simpson, Garcon (that one not so under-the-radar and doubtful Indy lets him go)

5)....OL....Anyway that we can upgrade the OL should be done.
not that deep in FA. I think if we draft a RT fairly high, then we could be okay with Steinbach coming back at LG (assuming he's on schedule as they have said)

not many teams run the ball on 3rd and 4 anymore. WCO teams even less than others (unless it's trying to catch the defense off-balance)

Brees, Colston and Meachem. I say we sign them, and then make a play for Lance Moore.
