You think Bruce Irvin can play DE in the NFL? I like him a lot, but I think he's definitely a 3-4 OLB. I just don't think he's big enough to play hand on the ground, 4-3 DE

It's a valid question. Just as valid in my mind is can he play in space and can he backpeddal and be an asset to a 3-4 team.

He was a full time DE in college. And he has the frame size to hold more weight.

He may be a 34 OLB. But I really like him coming around the edge and think he's about the size that Heckert likes in his edge rushers.

I disagree. He played DE and OLB in college. And it wasn't 3-4 OLB, at least from what I noticed. There would be four guys with their hands down and Irvin playing Strong Side OLB occasionally. May be this was just to add another rusher, but his hand wasn't down.

I do like Irvin though, he had a down year and could be a steal in the draft. And sometimes those smaller sized DE's do work out like Dumerville

that's a pretty darned good list. I'd be happy if the Browns were working off of that one.

I think Ganaway will be a good mid-round value at RB. Also, Bailey from Syracuse has a pretty great burst... could be a 6th-7th maybe UDFA change-of-pace back.

I also like Julian Miller in the 5th-6th as a rotational/rush DE.

Akiem Hicks looked pretty strong with long arms... 5th round value at DT. Maybe goes in the 6th.

I wouldn't be surprised if Brooks goes in round 2. I can't remember seeing a G dominate a game the way he did in the E/W Shrine Game. Of course, it's a 2nd-tier all-star game, so the dynamic is different, but he was so clearly the best player on the field that I think it will elevate his status. If he made it to the 4th I would want us to take him with our 1st #4 just because he looked that good, even though i don't consider OG one of our top 5 needs.
