I typically do a couple full 7 round mocks between early March and the draft and post parts of them. I didn't get the time this year to do that, but have been playing around off and on with one during that time. I finalized my one and only mock this year - I did a full down to our pick in the 3rd round (68), then best guess beyond that for the Browns. Here's round 1, then the overall Browns picks, then a few comments.

A couple first round trades. I expect more Thursday though...
+Miami Trades #12, #54 to Cleveland for #6 (I don't see us staying at 6 if one of the tackles is left - we could get more, but I only see Arizona and Miami being the two teams in contention for the pick, as New Orleans doesn't have the 2nd rounder it'd cost to move up)
+Buffalo trades #41, #105, 2014 3rd rounder to Minnesota for #25.

1…..Kansas City…..Luke Joeckel, OT
2…..Jacksonville…..Eric Fisher, OT
3…..Oakland…..Sharrif Floyd, DT
4…..Philadelphia…..Dion Jordan, OLB
5…..Detroit…..Ziggy Ansah, DE
6…..Miami (Cleveland)…..Lane Johnson, OT

8…..Buffalo…..Tavon Austin, WR
9…..N.Y. Jets…..Barkevious Mingo, DE
10…..Tennessee…..Dee Milliner, CB
11…..San Diego…..DJ Fluker, OT
12…..Cleveland (Miami)…..Chance Warmack, OG
13…..N.Y. Jets…..Kenny Vaccaro, FS
14…..Carolina…..Star Lotulelei, DT
15…..New Orleans…..Jarvis Jones, OLB
16…..St. Louis…..Cordarrelle Patterson, WR
17…..Pittsburgh…..Xavier Rhodes, CB
18…..Dallas…..Sheldon Richardson, DT
19…..N.Y. Giants…..DJ Hayden, CB
20…..Chicago…..Desmond Trufant, CB
21…..Cincinnati…..Jonathan Cyprien, SS
22…..St. Louis…..Arthur Brown, OLB
23…..Minnesota…..Manti Te'o, ILB
24…..Indianapolis…..Sylvester Williams, DE
25…..Buffalo (Minnesota)…..Ryan Nassib, QB

30…..Atlanta…..Bjoern Werner, DE
31…..San Francisco…..Eric Ried, FS
32…..Baltimore…..Matt Elam, SS

Cleveland's Picks
12…..Cleveland (Miami)…..Chance Warmack, OG
54…..Cleveland (Miami)…..Jordan Poyer CB/FS
68…..Cleveland…..David Amerson, CB/FS
104…..Cleveland…..Nico Johnson, MLB
139…..Cleveland…..Dion Sims, TE
164…..Cleveland…..Ty Powell, OLB
175…..Cleveland…..Jordan Mills, OT
227…..Cleveland…..Marquess Wilson, WR

Notes:
I have no idea if Joeckel or Fisher goes at #1...but if KC stays at #1, one will...
I've been reading more and more about Jacksonville being in love with one of the OT. I think it is 60/40 Dion Jordan at this point, but went with the articles...
Geno Smith to Philly at #33 (trade up to 33 from 35)
Matt Barkley goes in the 3rd round to Jacksonville.
I'm guessing there are a couple other surprises on there. I start with needs, then look at BPA, which is probably opposite of what should be done. Though I have a decent track record in the first round. All in all, who cares, it is fun regardless.

Warmack was the top player available on my board when we picked at 12, and at a position of need. Was a pretty easy selection over Rhodes and Vaccaro.

I have seen Poyer all over the board as far as where he'll be drafted. I think he will go earlier than most sites believe.

I was surprised that Amerson was still available in this mock, and couldn't pass him up. While neither he nor Poyer are true FS, I think both have the ability to play the position. This gives us more flexibility.

The rest of the picks were who I thought was a good fit at position at the place we were drafting, based on a combination of CBS, NFL Draft Countdown, and Drafttek's rankings.

I can't cut &paste on my Nook, so no link, but Miami just might be the one we trade with.

PFT is saying we are "seriously considering" trading for Devone Bess. I'm not thrilled about the idea with Little improving lsst season.

Also wondering if Bess would mean only swapping Firsts and getting no Second. Know nothing of value charts.

ANYWAY, as far as I can tell, knowing what positions we need, that looks like a decent mock for us.

Why not post the whole thing?

I don't have a good feel for Powell as an edge rusher, so I won't say anything about that pick. I just don't know.

I wouldn't complain if that's how it went down. Poyer and Amerson are two of my favorite corners in the draft.

I must be the only person who really likes Mills. If I needed a RT I wouldn't hesitate to take him in the third.

Powell is a bit of a crapshoot. What I like about him, is that he played safety, LB, and DE. From what I've read, and looking at his numbers, he's explosive. I'm not sure about his repertoire of moves though. His numbers are pretty good from college, but obviously not against BCS schools...

Per Mills, I'd like to see a little depth on the OL, and I think he gives us some flexibility by being able to play either tackle position.

I like the 7th rounder in Wilson - he's a guy that had things worked out a little differently at Wazzu, we'd be talking in the same breath as Woods, Hopkins, Hunter, Williams... maybe even Austin & Patterson. I'd not be surprised if he ends up going 4th or 5th round.

Here's the 2nd and the 3th through Cleveland. If I had more time I'd have done more instead of just projecting the Browns players in 4-7.
