If he is correct that's simply the law no matter whether you like it or not. And if this is true it's actually the roller derby team trying to get publicity for a team many never even knew existed before this. So.... Go root for your roller derby team that's filing a frivolous lawsuit to gain publicity!

The Roller Derby team will win in the sense that a billion dollar organization has enough to make them go away and settle out of court. If not, they'll get bled dry in legal fees.

Good for them (Derby team) for pushing it further to make some money.
