The only thing I would like to see .... as long as we're making requests (lol) ..... is for the link taking you back to the board moved to above the quick reply so really, really lazy people like myself don't have to scroll down to navigate back to the main board from the open thread. It would really helpm save my poor arthritic fingers.

read the error... it should explain why you're getting the error...such as your browser doesn't support that particular javascript function and that you should use the Quick Reply at the bottom of the screen.

fair enough  ... and I'm not entirely sold on it either as it could easily lead to the undoing of one of the nicer features here in that you can always follow a thread's conversations by seeing who is replying to whom.... this could make that less likely to be the case.

That was my first thought and it could very well happen. Maybe not though, there's a lot of smart people here who would quickly learn when to use it and when to use the reply button instead.
In the meantime... could the text box of the quick reply be made smaller? Like say, 5 or so lines? When I get down to that thing it's like the cops threw a cruiser's spotlight in my eyes.
Makes me nervous.
