The issue with Weeden was the silly situation the Browns put him into. He should have sat a year or 2 on the bench, but you can't do that when you draft a 29 yr old in the first round.
It was a bad move. Sitting in Dallas he may get a chance to learn the game.

The Eagles offensive line is... questionable. I feel bad for Murray. He made the decision to leave Dallas, and a top 2 or 3 run blocking OL and a top flight QB, to go to Philly, and chase the cash. I rarely feel sorry for a player who does nothing but chase the case.

I know that's purple... but if one place will pay you a little less but gives you a greater opportunity for success than the place that will pay you more... then don't complain when you make the cash but don't have the same level of success.

How about it's sad because there's a talented guy (who yes, money/ego aside) who likely was promised a keen role, leading rusher the previous year can do it all, run, pass block and catch, etc etc etc... heh, he doesn't even have a line to run behind and his role on offense is next to nothing.

??? I believe when you're a RB in this league, the position is undervalued. Your second contract is probably your biggest payday. You won't get this opportunity again. In the NFL, all you can really count on is your guaranteed money in your contract. So if it were me, I would sign that second contract where the most guaranteed money is offered. It's all about security for my family. In other careers, you're looking at a lifetime. In the NFL, your career can end on the next snap of the ball.
