I once heard Phil Savage say that the key to an effective front office is to NOT think in terms of "their guys" and "my guys", referencing the way many new front offices devalue players they didn't draft or otherwise acquire. Savage said that it makes no sense to needlessly overhaul a roster, but that it was much better to make "their guys", "your guys", because there was always, or at least usually, some use for a veteran. It made a lot of sense to find a way to utilize guys rather than just discard them and create another hole.

Let me see if I get your meaning without twisting your words.
You don't blame Farmer for cutting Taylor at all. That really has nothing to do with your feelings on the matter.
Your point is that this is simply one more example of terrible first round picks since our return. A pattern that seems to be an ongoing theme no matter who made the pick?
If so, I certainly agree.
It seems some wish to think you're blaming Farmer for sending Phil down the river, but that was never part of your point?
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

No, I am not blaming Farmer for releasing Taylor. I always thought the guy was overrated. He saved the Browns some money. Good move.
I do not get why fans would be happy about another first round pick busting, though.

Or do you think people are happy that a first round bust got released and saved us money? There's a huge difference. Happy that a first round pick was a bust? No. Happy that a bust was released? Yeah.

I promise I wasn't criticizing you when I questioned you. I promise! And I was just answering your question, I promise. There was nothing rude, condescending or anything in my post so why you feel like anyone who responds to you is doing it in a derogatory fashion? Got to chill a little lol
