HOLY CRAP!!! The refs completely changed what I said. Someone on the board said that people were ignoring that Frye went 11-13. I said "No we are paying attention to the fact that Frye has only won three games." I try to post again, and I get the your IP address has been banned. I just went back and my message said: "The playoffs arent believable until we shore up the OLine and DLine"

I tried to go there yesterday and got a message "we're sorry, the email address you entered does not exist in our database. <img src="/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" />

I was later able to log in using the exact same email address and password.

I was just over at the other board to read the ridiculous, Frye homer/Hater thread.

I've pretty much given up trying to reason. It's much more fun to goad everyone one. If you don't agree with a poster, you get called an idiot. Someone called another poster a 15 year old. I called the poster out, and he stated that he was correct because the "15 year old" didn't respond! BRILLIANT!!!

Ya got me Pit. But to my defense, with all the crap posting over there, I've got my hands too full to post on more than one board. I'm not going to give up on that board. But I will say this, if the refs are going to edit my messages, I will be over here more, and I will regardless.

You know I just had to go there. And I still vividly remember that game in Nashville and how much fun we had watching that great come back victory by our Browns. It was a lot of fun and I enjoyed meeting you.

Same here, I gave it a shot and then said screw it. I didn't like the way it was set up and the people posting to get a post count up. I looked after the Pitt game and that was the final straw. I love this place and the people. This is where I will be!

The Official web site is terrible. I haven?t posted there in a while. It seems that a lot of posters from DawgTalk have bounced or refused to post there. When I found this site, I jumped all over it and signed up.

I don't know why anyone would post over there. It's impossible to go there and just try to pick up some new information.

What's the issue over there about that site not being about to keep a user logged in? Is it really that difficult for them (the powers that be) to at the very least fix that one feature?

Unless there is a technical issue I'm not aware of, it *should* just be a matter of setting the cookie expiration time to some really large number like 1 billion seconds to have it essentially never expire.

I managed to do a little 'cookie cutting' over there once and was able to get persistant logins to stick, but not for long... but I was definitely able to close the browser and reopen and return and still be logged in.

My best guess is it's just a configuration issue, but it could be intentional as they can now count logins per day and unique logins and repeat logins.... essentially gather stats on the users. What the heck for, I dunno.

That is not considered to be a priority to fix.

It is hoped, that one day, wew will have a board that runs smoothly over there.
