tough, tough game. SD is better at home ... and they will need to win this game to avoid going to 1-3.
Melvin Gordon will most likely have a huge game ... along with Keenan Allen
Their D isn't that stout, but our O is garbage obviously

Traveling on Saturday because "studies have shown that effects of jet lag can be avoided". Really? Is this like the same study that came to the conclusion that Teddy B was the guy to draft? LOL
Until the Browns can actually show up for the first half, I will continue to predict losses. The old "we're going to establish the run and play defense" thing won't work. Especially when you can't run OR play defense.
The sad thing is that the Chargers are beat up on the OL so the defense should have a field day getting pressure on Rivers and maybe even stopping the run. Will it happen? LOL...we're talking about the Browns here.
Chargers are at home. I'm sure they'll come out with a little more energy than the Browns do. Way to fire the guys up coach!

I see Vegas giving San Diego 7-9 points paying only $100 for 9 on a $105 lay. Hmmm, even they are showing mixed results. O/U is 45. I think that is a little safe.
San Diego's OL ran into the injury bug last game. DBs got nicked too. Rivers does well when blitzed. Since Browns struggle in this area, this could be an advantage. If I were in Vegas, take Browns with the spread hedging the under. Both reachable filling the pocket with a little beer money!

This is a game that on paper we should lose fairly easy. If this team has any heart now is the time to show it and put forth the effort to play a great game. They owe it to themselves and the fans.

I think we'll be able to run against San Diego, and we have a big advantage on special teams. If we limit the turnovers and stupid penalties, I believe the score will be closer than most would expect it to be.
San Diego has one of the better offenses in the league. I expect 125-150 yards rushing from them and 250-300 yards passing. I think we'll move the ball against them - 100-125 yards rushing and 200-225 yards passing.

With SD oline beat up, and their DBs dinged, I got a feeling this is going to be one of those games, where the Browns come out smoking,playing good defense and running the ball. They get a 10 point lead. Then the half.
SD all of a sudden is busting long runs then Rivers kills them deep. SD takes the lead in the third. Browns rally in the fourth, and get close or just barely wins.
Then all the warm and fuzzy press will swell their numb heads, then next week they get pummeled by 30 points. All the fans will be talking about them playing with fire for a change, only to later see them think because they have a lead they can quit.
In forty some years, this has got to be the most depressed I've been about this team. They have the players to win, but just don't act like they really care.
