I know... was just giving you some fun crap Would like to see 30 plus points on the board.. might help to keep us # 1 Mich St winning by three against Purdue helps Remember when SEC powerhouses won small against other SEC teams and everyone thought it meant that everyone in the SEC is amazing? I wonder if the narrative will be the same here (It won't)! It shouldn't be... It isn't in this game, and it isn't when the top SEC teams struggle with the Vanderbilt and other low end teams... Indiana should get a little credit, but that first half was all on Ohio State. They've done a good job cleaning a lot of their own mess up though. Indiana is 4-0, hardly a lowly Vandy. Also, they used to do that all the time. Back then the teams were called Ole Miss and Miss. State.

clearly Urban has ZERO confidence in Cardale
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

clearly Urban has ZERO confidence in Cardale Or he has so much confidence in Zeek that you just feed him the rock no matter what you think about Cardale (though yes, he's having another rough game).

No way. Indiana was undefeated. We played them away, we will still be #1, though I do not think we are.

It's only gonna get harder from here. They were saying all day on 610 (down here in Columbus) how good their O was but they had the worst pass D in the country.
I'm a Cardale fan, but Barret probably would've cut these guys to ribbons. Then again, he did have almost an identical interception to Cardale in the same game when he came off the bench a few weeks back didn't he?
Gotta give the Hoosiers credit though, they really came to play today.

Time to sit Cardale. Sorry, but he is just not getting it done right now. He needs to learn the position better, and to do so from the sidelines. Time to bring JT Barrett back in as the starter.
Now I can go back to throwing up again. I have never felt so queasy with a 5-2, #1 in the country team.

Because he's a turnover liability. his line protection hasn't been up to par... Barret was even scrambling for his life when he was in other games.. Also seems the receivers aren't running the best routes. This could be from having a new O- coordinator..

True, we need to remember there is a new play caller there.

Play calling isn't the scariest concern. We turn the ball over like crazy. This has been going on since last year under Herman.
I don't know how to fix it.

I don't know how to fix it. One of my biggest concerns too. One of these games it is going to bite us, we've been very lucky it hasn't yet.

You know, you look at his stat line 18/27 (66.7%) for 246 yds, with 1 TD pass and 1 Int, and you think "that's not bad". But if you watched ... it was bad. Those two slants in a row when he threw behind the receiver bugged me, as well as quite a few of his throws. I still think Cardale will be a better pro than JT, but for OSU's purposes, I think playing JT gives you the best chance at avoiding the playoff-killing upset loss.

Sadly Dave, and no offense to you, but it hurts me to have to agree with this. I was totally on the "Meyer, what decision is there to make - you start Cardale!" and that happened, and now this is happening. He was off it seemed pretty much all day. When you remotely think he could be getting in rhythm, Cardale disappointed you. I really felt when he threw that ball and that linebacker INT it, that was a pick six and more than likely, us losing. I really and truly felt that. I think it was Wilson, #2 who saved that from happening. Our offense and our defense are playing pretty iffy right now, and it's extremely concerning... we won yesterday, and it feels like a Browns loss to me

I don't know how to fix it. Everyone needs to better, but one thing you can do is sit Marshall. He's a turnover waiting to happen. This whole bad offense isn't just on Cardale, although he's a big part of it, it's also on this playcalling. Some of these cals are really questionable. You get Zeke clear on a huge run for a touchdown, you force a 3 and out, and then folow that up with 3 straight incomplete passes. That was not Ohio State last year at any point after Va Tech.. I'm still not panicking though. They have time to figure this out.

I do get a kick out of the people ripping Ohio State for playing a close game with Indiana. I mean, Ohio State didn't play a very great game, but didn't Indiana last year go on the road and beat Missouri, who plays in the most perfect conference ever?
Indiana has slowly improved their program the last few years. They're not great, but they're also not Jacksonville State.

I know I have been saying it ad nauseum since the start of the season, but this team in no way resembles the team from last year. Urban keeps saying we're a run first, physical offense and we start the game off with that stupid shuffle pass to Braxton that loses 6 yards. I don't care if we don't gain a yard on the first drive. It should be Zeke left, Zeke right and Zeke up the middle. We are mentally soft on offense and some of it shows in the playcalling.
