Had the Ravens lost, I'd be happy they started 0-4, but that would have all but been a guarantee that they'd sweep us.
Now that they've won one, it's pretty much a cinch that we're going to lose this weekend and instantly be back in last place in the division.
No matter what, though, it is at least nice to see Pittsburgh lose.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

No matter what, though, it is at least nice to see Pittsburgh lose. Well, at least someone can beat them. We know the Browns can't. LOL Forever the rallying cry of Browns fans everywhere: Well at least Pittsburgh lost! Sad.
After 55 years, I'm walking away from this dumpster fire. Good luck to everyone who continues to hang on. You'll need it.

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I watched the game but only for the sole hope of seeing everyone on the field break out in spontaneous explosive diarrhea.
That's pretty much the only thing I can root for when those 2 teams play each other.

so Baltimore's next game is at home against us. They'll get 10 days off, a chance to get healthy, etc ... we have a West coast trip, fewer days of rest, and probably will be coming off of 2 straight losses.

Dear NFL: Nobody is going to wake up early to watch your London game. I will. I will too. I wish there was one that early every week.

Also our game early in the year at their house...game ending FG to lose the game. We played them real close and when they came to our house we destroyed them.
With Big Ben not an aging Vick.
jmho - happy Ravens won so we can win and tie for 2nd. Ravens looked pretty bad if you asked me.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

Ravens looked pretty bad if you asked me. IMO, both teams looked like they wanted their opponent to win for much of the game. So many missed opportunities. Bad tackling Blown 4th down attempts Missed FG's I thought it was one of the sloppiest games I've seen an a good long while- and came away thinking that BOTH teams are just average, at best.

This game is almost as painful to watch as a Browns game....
My wife just looked at me and said, "I'm bored." lol. I guess if you're a Jets fan it ain't so bad.

I know he's not the best out there, but why did we let Buster Skrine walk again?

I know he's not the best out there, but why did we let Buster Skrine walk again? We have better DBs now. He's already positively impacted at least three plays since I've been casually watching this game.

What's up with Tannehill? He can't hit the broad side of a barn today....he's not even close on most of his passes.

Again, not the best but instead we keep guys like Gilbert. Gilbert would not be on any other roster in the NFL. Now he plays like a Brown!

It's official. I'm jealous of the Bengals. Hey the Bengals were once where the Browns are and even maybe worse. It's just going to take the Browns 50+ more years to turn it around like Cincy has.

All the other parts are interchangeable. The reason all their other players look so good is because of continuity.

But they have legit talent. Who at the Browns skill positions could start for the Bengals or any AFC North teams?

With the exception of Green they've developed those players or those players had the benefit of being able to come in to stable systems and learning from guys who had been there for awhile.

Their coach is still holding them back. They're a great model of continuity. They have a bad coach and as a result have talented players from drafting so highly. Now they're a perpetual wild card team with no room for growth.
