pretty much expected hoyer to be named starter again
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Dear Bill O'Brien,
Thanks for making me look somewhat competent when it comes to QBs.
Sincerely, Mike Pettine

i actually laughed out loud when hoyer threw that horrid pass, It was a microcosm of his abilities, he'll make a few good throws and then ultimately cost you the game with his decision making

Do the Lions know they paid Stafford a ton of money? It doesn't make sense for them to Back off for Goff. Or maybe they are backing off for Goff so they can do an RGIII style trade? If so, well played Lions.

Stanford is a never was.
Million dollar arm, ten cent competitive fire, leadership, want to, fill in the blank.
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

He hasn't gotten any better in how many years? Not sure. He is at least league average though. I'd take him over anything we've had.

Bengals are legit. Seahawks are the epitome of a bully. They took the bully's best hit and then knocked the bully on their ass.

Chiefs season is basically done. Cardinals seem like the team to beat in the NFC. I think they're slightly better than Green Bay.

Thank God we didn't go after Foles. He was as overrated as Matt Flynn.

Kubiak is doing his best to ruin Mannings twilight years. His offense is garbage. He needs to let manning call the plays

And yet, 2 weeks ago, many would've given their left toe to get any of them. It's kind of like the pre-season college football rankings: it's all based on last year. It's kind of like looking at an nfl schedule before the season and ranking difficulty of schedule.

for my money the Cardinals might have the best all around team in the NFL. They might not win it because NE/GB/Pitt have better QBs ... but Zona is very good

Weeden just overthrew Terrance Williams (who was wide open in the endzone) so bad. Weeden is still Weeden.

Did anyone see that QB keeper by Dalton? Wow. What a play. Andy Dalton is a different player than he was, 4, 5, or even 6 years ago. Just look at his demeanor in interviews. Andy Dalton has a different look in interviews. I don't like it. I want him to be the same dumbfounded kid he always was. So what if the Bengals win the Super Bowl, it's not like the Browns were going to win it this year anyway. And it would suit our torture as Browns fans for every other team in our division to get a ring since the return in 99. If you don't believe there is discrimination against sports teams from Ohio? Just re-play that national championship win by the Buckeyes 9 months ago. What color was the confetti? What color was the confetti? Green and Gold Confetti,(or all yellow confetti) for a Buckeye's win in the first ever college playoff. Discrimination, they didn't even have any neutral colored confetti. Hollywood and big cities, NY, and Chicago, don't want to see any team from Ohio win a championship and always favor the other team in a champiohship matchup involving one team from Ohio. With one exception. The Reds, sometimes.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Weeden just overthrew Terrance Williams (who was wide open in the endzone) so bad. Weeden is still Weeden. And the Pats were playing a soft prevent at the time. I thought it was funny when Terrance threw his hands up as if to say, "Manute Bol couldn't have caught that. I was wide open. What the hell dude?" But of course the announces were praising Weeden at the same time. They said he completed his 19th pass out of 20 and that is promising for the coming weeks. For crying out loud, the Pats were giving screens to the RB for free in the 4th quarter. Anyone on this board could have gone 15/20 with the defense they were playing.
“...Iguodala to Curry, back to Iguodala, up for the layup! Oh! Blocked by James! LeBron James with the rejection!”

Cincinnati won themselves a "character game" today. That was one gritty comeback.
I know this is "other games" thread, but I just gotta mention:
The same could be said for our team today. They finally won one of those games that usually kill a small piece of our hearts.

The same could be said for our team today. They finally won one of those games that usually kill a small piece of our hearts. When Crowell turned the corner and scampered up the sideline for the game leading TD, I was sure we left too much time on the clock. I couldn't even enjoy the TD because I was sure we would 'because Browns' still lose in some heart breaking last second way. Man, battered dawg syndrome. Our D did give up the game tying drive...in chunks...way too easily. As per expected. Thankfully they held'em to the FG.

Trevin Wade just got burned by Boldin and is probably going to cost me $10. All I'm asking is if we could possibly cut him again?
