Too much of the Gurley man.

But we keep it close...maybe even pull this one off!

They have a good d-line and McCown holds the ball too long.

They have Gurley and our run defense is atrocious.

They win.

Chris Long is expected to be out but the other three dudes are pretty amazing. I still give our offensive line a shot at neutralizing them at times (because we did a pretty good job against Denver) but it won't be easy.

My guess is STL's game plan will be to run the ball w/ Gurley a ton because their passing offense is ranked pretty low if I'm not mistaken. For the Browns, getting out to an early lead will force them to pass the ball more than relying on Gurley to control the pace of the game. Gurley is really starting to heat up.

I think this could be a low scoring game with key plays on special teams making the difference (as the old cliché goes).

I don't think their passing game has anything on our secondary and hopefully Haden and Gip are back.

our defense will make foles look like the elite Eagles version.

Bad combination: Strong front 7 and very good running game ... our two weaknesses

I wouldn't be shocked if this is a repeat outcome of the Jets game in week 1

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Gurley will run for 180+ after we hold him under 25 yards in the first quarter.

Both QBs will have 2+ turnovers.

Barnidge keeps his TD streak alive.

There are 2+ special teams or defensive TDs in this game.

Another solid defense in St. Louis, another week of seeing the real McCown. Gurley goes off against the Browns non-existent run defense. This won't be close.

This is it in a nutshell.

We lose 34-7. But maybe we'll hear that if you don't consider Gurley's 4 really long runs, then we held him to 125.

I predict Fisher will go to the Bahamas this week feeling his talents won't be needed to secure a win.

The Rams are rested off a bye. We just played a tough team into OT.

The Rams have a great D Line. We struggle to run the ball, and our QB holds the ball too long occasionally.

We should lose, which means we'll probably win..

For the season prediction thread, I posted 2-14. We're already at 2 and now I think we win 2 more. I think we'll beat Baltimore and either this game or the San Fran game. I think It's this one:

Browns - 20
Rams - 13

Congratulations to our 2016 NBA Champion CLEVELAND CAVALIERS!!! Greatest comeback in sports history... Hail to the King!

It doesn't make sense, but I'm going to predict a Browns win, in an ugly low-scoring game.

Browns 17
Rams 13

"If" we slow down their run, the Rams will struggle to score and our offense has been putting up some good numbers on the scoreboard since week 1 ... Sooooooooo Browns 24-14 thumbsup

There isn't a font size on here that will make that "If" big enough.

Browns give false hope, but enjoy the win:

I have no hope in this defense. The scheme is horrible, and no adjustments are being made. This will be another week that a team sets some kind of record against the Browns. It seems like every week for years.

I don't even want to give a score, I'll just say more heartbreak.

It is hard to have hope with this team because of what we see week in and week out but I just can't help but think that with a play here or there(or a better coaching decision) we could be 4-2 or maybe 5-1 even with this D. frown

Its exactly why we will win..

Like beating Tennessee, no one cares about this game except people that follow Cle and Stl..

So we will win, a little blurb will be written about how nice it is.. Then well lose to Arizona and probably beat Cincy on TNF, then win, maybe even two in a row.. Then we'll end the season with the usual 5 game losing astreak..

Everyone will get fired, players released, new people will be brought in, half the board will like them, half won't...

Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

to be fair, I don't see more than 3 more wins on our schedule

maybe SF, Bal, KC?

Cleveland Browns (+5.5) at St. Louis Rams

The Browns might be 2-4, but they’ve been very tough to beat since they were blown out in the season opener. They nearly beat the Chargers on the road, and took the undefeated Broncos to overtime last week. Sandwiched in between those games was a win at Baltimore, and there’s little reason to think Cleveland can’t do the same in St. Louis. The Rams have scored 10 or fewer points in three of their last four games, so even if they win, it might not be by more than a field goal.

Prediction ATS: Cleveland

Sounds good to me. smile

Gurley, who's averaging 5.7 yards per carry, is the reason why I can't agree with that article or remotely think we'd be able to win.

The Browns have been in very close games the last three weeks.

But the way they have been beat remains the same.

The defense has not been able to get stops when needed most. They have been consistently run on.

Expect a face full of Gurley.

Unless a team corrects a weakness they can expect that weakness to be exploited.

In order to win it is quite simple they have to play better.

I have a bad feeling.

Last week was crushing, and I can see this team thinking this is some get back on track game, when really they should be approaching every game like they did Denver. They knew Denver was a much better team so they played pretty focused. They really played well.

I don't really know what to expect but I just have a bad feeling, one too similar to the usual to the middle of a Browns season.
