Mosgov and JR have been completely worthless so far this year..need to figure out what's goin on. We gave up 2 firsts for mosgov, he's in a contract year...he better figure it out. JR is ny JR right now..just being really stupid. It's amazing as bad as thier bigs have destroyed us we got back into it.. hopefully we get more aggressive the second half

Man what a second half. This team is so deep. Kudos to Blatt, he really got them ready for second half, he's not scared to go deep into his bench either.. Lebron 2005 showed up, some of those dunks especially the one on the lob he had to reach waaay back for i was like damn..looks like the back is good to go. The defense in the second half was just smothering. it's going to be a fun fun year. Now we get 4 at home against some cupcakes..Like i said last week, the Miami win pretty much set us up to get some momentum in the beginning of the season..

the better question is does Dan Gilbert want to monopolize Cleveland sports ownership

Yep..........Cavs looking good.

Did anyone realize how good of a passer Love is?

TT can defend.

LeBron's dunk was un-freaking-real! I was almost ready to say he was going to be a at the rim player. LMAO

Mo stepped up when he had too. Great acquisition by the Cavs.

Moz had a bit more explosiveness tonight in the parts I watched.

I like this team.

That's why we all wanted him. The scoring is great, and the rebounding is really great, but his awareness is so good.

Lebron made it prety clear through back channels 1-2 years before leaving Miami that Love was a player he really wanted to be able to play with. I remember Windy going on RBS after either the 2013 or 2014 season and saying to keep Kevin Love in mind.

It's just pretty amazing how all those pieces fell into place. I mean Lebron came beore the Wiggins/Love deal, so maybe if we don't win the lottery we find another way, but Wiggins made it much much easier to get done.

This team is so much fun to watch. It's probably a bit exaggerated since our football team has sucked a lot of the fun of watching sports. I know the NBA season gets a lot of complaints for being too long, but I'm really going to enjoy this very long year.

So envious of my friend. Her friend gave her 6 2nd row tickets behind the hoops at a cavs game. Would kill for that.

The league has passed Memphis bye. Guys like Tony Allen and Zach Randolph don't really have a place for big time minutes.

Right. Allen can't play big time minutes. Teams literally ignore him on the offensive side. Randolph just clogs everything up at this point.

Gasol and Conley are money though.

Guys like Randolph and Al Jefferson are just too one dimensional on offense. It limits what they can do for a teams offense.

Mozgov is still recovering from off-season surgery. He is still working his way back into shape.

Despite that, he has ... what .... 4 blocks tonight? (and 6 points, 7 boards, and 1 assist) He also only played 22 minutes tonight. It's going to take time for him to get back to 100% condition-wise.

Its as I've said all year, they just need to rest him until he's 100%..we have 4 healthy bigs right now..playing on a knee not 100% only leads to compensation injuries.. he did play better the second half, but so did everyone. you can see they came out more aggressive and once they decided to stop toying with a 7 win team they just pulled away. But okafor and Noel had their way with our bigs, I really like Okafor, he kinda looks like drew gooden with hair to me..lol

Kevin Love has had a beyond incredible start to the season. If you're not thrilled about how he's playing, then I just don't know what to say to that.

I think we all know that. In fact, that is why a couple of us thinks he needs to get into better shape before playing so many minutes.

Finally watching the game now. Still in the middle of the second. The Cavs were completely sleepwalking in the 1st quarter. It's almost like they KNOW they can flip a switch if needed, so they played in cruise control for most of that quarter.

Mozgov looks alright. You can tell he's still out of shape a bit, so I'm not too worried. JR seems to be mentally checked out because the Refs have some sort of initiative to call him for anything this year. He's tried to put the ball on the court more, look for the pass, and add some new wrinkles to his game ... but as as draw-back, he's completely lost his way in being a spot-up shooter. That's sort of what we need him for though.

He's really not playing very many minutes though.

He's only playing 21 minutes/game. He had surgery in the off-season, and the best way to get back into NBA shape is to run the court and bang.

If he needs reduced minutes in a game, we have the depth to allow that to happen, as happened when he played only 18 minutes against Miami.

We are truly blessed to have such depth in the front court.

Yeah Okafor just abused Moz. His knee is still an issue, and from what I hear a botched surgery. I still think he's not that important right now that you don't shut him down for a month or two and see if it heals and be good to go for the stretch.

Yeah JR just is playing bad just about every way, I think the refs do have an agenda with him and its sickening, just one of the many reasons NBA officiating is worst in sports. So many of the fouls against him are marginal or not even a foul, but they call it so quick against him.. I think mentally its taking a toll. If he's not shooting the 3, his role on team is diminished, thats what we need him for. Hopefully the support from teammates helps get him back on track. I hope he's good enough to play tomorrow and gets a chance to light up NY. That might get him back on track.

To be fair, Okafor is no slouch. He was a polished offensive player coming out of college. Everyone that was covering him last night got abused, not just Moz. Moz did get 4 blocks on him and redirected a few of his shots. He just didn't shut him down. That early run at the start of the 3rd quarter was due in part to Moz playing good D.

I think that's part of it. He does seem mentally checked out. Last year, he was almost automatic when he got the ball in space behind the line. Now, he's almost a liability. I agree with you, I hope this game against the Knicks gets him focused again.

JR had a hamstring in the pre-season, and then suffered a knee injury against the Sixers. I'm not sure he's 100% back into the swing of things either.

YTown............I am not bashing Moz. I like Moz. He is a good player and we need him.

I don't think putting him on the court and banging is the best way to get him in shape. LOL

There are things like conditioning drills and practice that can be closely monitored to reduce the risk of injury. LOL

Looks like JR is out with a knee injury for 2-3 games.
