Cop may have gone overboard after the 4th opportunity. I bet no other kids will refuse a logical statement of "you can't do that. put it away."

The cops went over the line, but at the same time, she could have avoided it all, 3 times before it happened.

Both should be reprimanded, and the school should devise a method of dealing with these situations in the future. The problem I think most people have is that in the end, the cop lost his job, and the girl will most likely get off light, and get money in a law suit.

I can only hope a Judge or jury has common sense and tells the girl "Follow the rules, and bad things won't happen", and deny her suit.

Since it is impossible to believe anyone could find the 2 scenarios to be even vaguely similar, and going by your typical position on most threads, I conclude you really are nothing more than a n antagonistic forum troll.

This girl is not a victim. She was the antagonist. The victims are the other kids in the classroom that are losing out on their chance for an education due to one disruptive student. They used to kick out those students that didn't want to learn, but wanted to disrupt the class.

Once again, what is the cop supposed to do? Should he keep asking nicely until the girl give up? Any situation where the cop physically removed the girl from the class would have been posted online, and I believe most of your responses would be the same. That girl is a victim of her own bad behavior and lack of common decency.

Nobody said the girl is not to blame.

What a lot have wondered is why some people insist on saying the cop should have been allowed to toss a girl, a minor, across the room.

They've also given ideas about what his behavior should have been or how the school failed him and he payed the price.

There's also been some who insist all problems with society can be attributed to participation trophies and cell phones.
