Given the team's current roster construction, young players, management, etc., how confident are you in the Browns' overall future?

It depends. Does 1 stand for "No Confidence Whatsoever" or does 10?

If you define "future" as next 5 years, I gave it a 2... if you define future as eternity, I'll give it a 4.

I chose "Blue".

This team appears to be in shambles without much to instill any confidence that we can turn things around in the near future. Our HC seems to be making one bad decision after another during the games. We don't have a quarterback. Our GM hasn't given us a top tier player in his two years on the job....you need a few of those to have any success in this league. IMO we have 3 on the team now, Thomas-Mack-Lee. Thomas and Mack are OL, and Lee's a punter. Just what or who should we draw on to have any confidence? Maybe Barnidge, Duke or Armonty? All of the rest are just mediocre players that do the job well enough to keep some games fairly close. I'd love to think otherwise, but there is absolutely no evidence that offers hope for this team.

That's on your own teams web site not ours.

Went low. Depends on coordinators and who is drafting.

I put 1, but it's been a 0 ever since I gave up the season tickets in 2011 when Shurmur decided to play for a field goal and Pontbriand botched the snap vs. the Rams. Said I'll never go back again and have held true to my word. The mojo to love this team has been dead ever since.

Sure we were kicked in the balls many times before that, but that was the final blow that kicked them up into my stomach and out of my mouth.

Now I just watch games as a neutered Dog. No emotion or spunk.

suicidal was not an option; thus, I selected 1

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

There is no plan and dysfunction everywhere.

Therefore, I chose 1.

On a long enough timeline, anything is possible.

If we hit on the right QB in the draft, we'll be in contention for the playoffs every season. It will happen.

Did Indians fan know what was coming in 1990? Did Cavs fans know what was coming in 2000?

Yeah, we kinda did w/both.

Did most of the posters on this board know what was coming this year? Obviously not.

Did a small minority of posters on this board know what was coming this year? Yep, and we got hell for it.

There was no way to know about how good the Cavs were going to be 3 years before Lebron was drafted. And the Indians had been a train wreck for decades before the Lofton, Belle and Baerga days. Nobody had confidence those good times were coming.

My point, the Browns could be 2-3 years away from going to the playoffs every year. We just don't know right now.
