Seattle probably has the worst o-line in football right now.

why play mccown?
we need manziel to grow and see if we need to draft a qb next year. we're not gonna do that playing a QB who isn't in the long term plans.
i'll never understand why people wanna play a stop gap QB on a non-playoff team. Because we can already see that JFF is not a legit pro prospect. How is that? He is a more athletic Russell Wilson. Lol, he had some drops tonight. I'll give JFF that he was screwed over by his receivers but he showed nowhere near the poise that Wilson has. Once the frustration set in and the deficit grew larger he was rushing throws and missing his receivers by a mile. And none of that is because of the OL Wilson has versus this abortion of an OL? had*

Because he didn't try? That's on him. Carr tried. Bridgewater tried. Bortles tried. True, but that doesn't mean he's hopeless. He can still wind up being a good QB. The chances are very slim. We have the whole rest of the season to test him out, but we probably won't because the coach will start McCown. We should start him the rest of the season. McCowns not the long term guy. Either JFF is the guy for 2016 or we find another QB.

had* [/quote] Yes, had, thank you. And he also has/had Beast Mode at RB, as someone already mentioned.

Ditto, I mean he's only completed 68% of his passes and has a very competent TD to INT ratio of 11 to 4 but we don't want that here.

Just look at McCown's record as a starting QB. That is all you need to know.
Stat are for losers.

Stat are for losers. Generally I do agree with that, but when was the last time we saw a QB complete passes at such a high rate. (It's been quite awhile!) Is it time to evaluate the rest of the team and maybe lay some of the blame on it for losing? Like this supposed great defense per example?

Stat are for losers. We should sign Vince Young -- look at this record. And he's younger than McCown! (Also, what is a record if it's not a stat?)
